About the one shotting mobs: We've had good luck with Marids dying in one hit, we've come to call them "Aids Marids".

i have runic key and now 95F

everytime i warp at 100, it drops sasuke katana...... 3 times now and all 3 times i used ninja and mijin > homepoint to allow my friends to kill so i retain my record....

does the "100% weapon of your job with runic key" thing apply even when i warp?

or it is sheer sorcery that the 3 times i happen to be NIN, it drop sasuke katana x3 >.>

from what i know... 1/18 x 1/18 x 1/18 is seriously low percentage lol

Its not 1/18 x 1/18 x 1/18, since each time is independant of the last. Its more like 1/18 X 1/z, where z is the number of times you get the katana. In this case it would be 1/18 x 1/3 = 1/54. But even that isnt saying much, since you have a 1/18 chance of getting any specific weapon and a 1/18 x 1/3 chance of getting any combination of 3 weapons.

Just interesting luck, but dont worry, when you actually need your katana to drop it wont.

It's not interesting luck, the weapon of the job you came on is guaranteed to drop if you have the Runic Key, even if you warp, as I said three posts above.

Also, I don't think your math is right either, but that might not be worth quibbling about.

pretty sure that math is completely whacked lol... missing some !s or something, but who cares and yeah - unless you get someone else with your intended nyzul relic job a runic key, there's no way to guarantee the weapon drop you need other than clearing your disc a second time.

i'm in the same boat as arthars, unless we decide to take our secondary runic disc to 100, which wouldn't make much sense since him and i have 2/3 the same 75 jobs ; ; gonna have to pray to the gods myself, or clear my disc for a second time which i was REALLY, really hoping to avoid.

we've had this phenomenon happen with 1 wamoura and 3+ wivres since we've been doing Nyzul. Every time we see a wivre now our MNK tank runs full speed at it to attack first and says he's gonna 1-shot it by "punching it in the balls" lmao. Just seems like sometimes Nyzul glitches and loads mobs with 1HP or something.
