Killer effect information please?

ffxiclopedia, bg-wiki and search function have failed me.

Does wearing more than one piece with a killer effect increase the intimidation rate? And does an HQ piece give a better killer effect at all? Also, ffxiclopedia says chr increases proc rate, but I remember a long-running debate about that part from years ago. Is it true, and if so is the difference noticable? Thanks in advance.

From tests I've seen here and on KI, killer effects seem to be a constant % not really dependent on anything. Traits were around 8%, specific killer effects from food/gear tended to be 5% or less, and stuff that enhanced all killer effects like tatami shield or flawless ribbon had really low proc, like 1-3%. Effects from traits and food/gear stack, but I seem to recall people concluding it capped at a fairly low number, like 15% or something.

EDIT: As for NQ/HQ foods, I remember seeing that hobgoblin chocolate had higher proc than goblin chocolate in two different tests, something like 10% on nq 12% on hq, both pretty high...
