I know NINs and THFs have been known to duo it with a RDM or BRD, just chiming in, you can do it as PLD + RDM as well.

Rampart is great for those -ga3, Sentinel in the "ohshit" moments, and if you have a -magic or resist setup, probably works fantastically. I, however did not Still, wasn't that tough of a fight, took about 20 minutes since I wasn't WSing, only ran under 100MP near the last 3 minutes.
