So i got a LCD 19' widescreen monitor for xmas, but it doesn't have a DVI port. Will a dvi port improve the image of games over a d-sub?

The Auto-Adjust on most modern LCDs is so good that the picture quality is very near the same as DVI. The primary drawback is that you need to actually use the auto-adjust (and adjust other settings sometimes) where with DVI it's unnecessary.
so is it worth the trouble of returning the monitor and gitting another 1 with same stats for 20$ under current only with a dvi port?
If you wouldn't offend anyone by doing so, personally, I would.
D-sub can handle resolutions up to 1600x1200 with no problems. DVI is nice, but not necessary for a 19" screen. You may notice a very slight difference in quality, but likely it will look the same.
