yeah this was horrible. you could barely see the fight scenes in avp, and most of it was just the aliens killing people.

Personally I'd see it just for Tom Hanks. Not to sound too homosexual, but there are certain movies I'll go see just because of a certain actor being in it (or directing/writing/producing). Hanks, Carrey, Denzel, Will Smith to name a few. Certain people just can do no wrong. Even if the movie isn't GREAT, it'll be enjoyable with him. Go see it anyway, I can't imagine it being really bad enough for you to not like it. I haven't checked torrents yet but I'm sure you could snag it and watch it at home by now.

Haven't had the chance to check this pile of puke, but I've read nothing but bad things hahaha. Well, if anyone wants to see a movie, check out "No Country for Old Men," (best film I've seen so far) then hop to check out other abominations, such as "AVP."

I went in for Predator and not expecting anything else, so I loved it. Wide ending too.. I hope they make a new series off of it. Needs more focus on Predator, screw the Aliens.

Same here and I enjoyed it more than the first one. The predator kicked a lot more ass in this one and for once wasn't just another stupid "hunting trip" background for him.

The hybrid alien was pretty wtf but if you've read any of the comics you would know this isn't the first time there's been an alien hybrid. (See Alien vs predator vs terminator).

I paid my $7.50 and wanted only this: A senseless plot that simply throws some aliens versus predators against each other and humans getting caught in the middle. All i wanted was blood, gore and to watch both the aliens and the predators on the big screen. I wanted to see alien blood burn through human flesh, I wanted to see aliens popping out of human stomachs, I wanted to see the Predator in all his badassness take out his fury with as many Predator weapons as possible, and I wanted to see lots and lots of senseless, imaginative death scenes. And I got what I wanted... and loved it!

Is this a good movie? No lol. Pretty shitty acting, story, ending, etc... but Ive never expected that from any of the AVP movies. Hell, the title itself yells "what if!!!" Its not made to be serious in any means. Your going to pay for a very "what if!" story with some pretty kick ass Alien/Predator killing scenes.

Now to the mythos, ya Id have to say they will never seem to stay consistent to get anything right, but honestly I dont care THAT much about the mythos.

I thought it was a good movie. Maybe because I have never seen any of those movies, the humans were some of the shittiest actors possible. I really felt bad for the guy with the jew fro that went to the center of the city and got owned. That single Predator was so badass, he ripped through Aliens like nothing it was pretty sad. He had a lot of trouble at the end for using his little medical pack thing too early.

Philip Seymour Hoffman > Tom Hanks, not that Tom Hanks is bad in any way shape or form, but if I was going to reccomend a movie because of it's actors, I'd go with the Hoff.
