Question about FFXI and Wireless Keyboard..

Merry Christmas first of all to everyone, I don't post much on here and I have a question about the wireless keyboard I got for christmas:

The keyboard I have is a Wireless Logitech for the PS3, I installed it how the instrctions said by turning off the PS3 and putting the USB mini-receiver into the PS3 then turned on the PS3 did the reset part and yadda yadda, it works fine on PS3 main screen, however, when I log onto FFXI POL the only parts that work are the arrow keys and the enter button, which also in turn makes it so my wireless controler O, square, and Triangle buttons aren't working. I can't type anything and can't use the controller to exit out. I logged into FFXI and it seemed something was stuck on ctrl or the L2 or R2 button, my macros would constantly be up unless I hit the start button and then they'd go away but the O or escape button wouldn't do anything. When I went to type anything, for instance, a "t" It would bring up /tell auto-like.

I tried everything, the keyboard working in my laptop, no problems. Is this keyboard not compatable with FFXI? Am I not doing something or doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

Some wireless controllers on PS3 just don't play friendly with FFXI and act like the Ctrl key is always held down, making it useless for typing, and only useful for controlling the game. Wired USB controllers are the way to go for FFXI, unless you research what wireless controllers people haven't had this problem with before buying one.
