It sounds like im crazy but when its happened to me so many times, it's hard to act like its coincidence. Happened last night basically 2 times in an hour. Had 3 good hands in a row, 2 pocket pairs and AK, won all 3. Then the 4th, I got pocket Ks. Immediately because of my "setup paranoia" i have, I kept in the back of my mind, I might get fucked here. Flop came 552. I bet .75 in a .5/.10 game. He calls automatically. Turn came a J. I bet a 1.50. He calls auto. River Ace. Now because of my paranoia, I knew I was beaten right then and there. I check, he bets 6.00 for no reason, I fold, he shows the Ace like I thought. He had A 4. Yes A 4. And about 40 minutes later, similar thing happened, won 4 hands in a row easily then I had AK and flopped a straight, only to lose to runner runner flush.
Now this is not a sore loser talking by any means, either. I play on nothing but a large amount of profit i've made already so I really don't give a shit when I lose hands in .5/.10 tables. It's just the principle.
