    WotG Laziness.

This is not a Wingsbashing thread, i've read all the crap out there, good and bad. I THINK this is just cus im buzzed and have a confession to make and a question to ask. I bought WotG when i could <thank you SE for making that as painless as possibleNOT> then bought a new Xbox cus my PS wouldnt spin disks anymore < it was time for an upgrade anyways> then bought WotG again for Xbox....

I Have Not Done A Single Think in WotG.

I've not seen a Maw, been to a campaign battle done a .. whatever , ANYTHING. I'll... Get around to it later i'm sure...

Am i the only one who has it and just doesnt really care?

P.S. thanks to all you groundbreakers who are figuring this all out for me to do myself in oh.. say .. 3 months

I have like 3 maws that I got as soon as I got the expansion... people keep telling me how awesome campaign is etc. but I just don't have the time and don't really care for any of the rewards (*'-')

Maybe that's campaign ops with armour rewards idk~ but anyway the exp from campaign is inferior to any I could get in a pt so i can't be bothered lol.

    Re: WotG Laziness.

You might want to rank up in campaign a bit in preparation for the next update. Hypothetically, there should be some good rewards in the future -.-.

Other than Campaign ranks, there's not a whole lot to fall behind on. You could probably finish all the WoTG missions as well as get all the maws within 1-2 days so I can understand the WoTG laziness heh.

    Re: WotG Laziness.

I've run around looking at all the new areas because they are there. I've cleared as many Campaign Ops as I can for the same reason, and ranked up for pretty much that reason too (although I have sold a piece or two of AN armor). I do Campaign Battle because I enjoy it; obviously I could get merits faster if I wanted, but that's not the point. I've been following the tales of exp parties through WotG areas and making notes for my static in January.

If none of that sounds good to you, don't bother. I doubt anyone will care. You might care later if you decide you want to catch up because of rewards or some other reason, but that's not my problem

I could understand the apathy if you've already tried everything Wings has to offer right now. But I just think it's idiotic to not even bother trying something you paid for.

    Re: WotG Laziness.

I ran to the past, unlocked dancer and warped out. I'm pretty sure I need to do a gate breach to re-enter the past so I have a good excuse whenever I think I want to go back. I'd like to try campaign but the free time I get in game is normally taken up by crafting and assaults.

At this point either rewards in the past or detriment in the current time would make me go back.

Anyway everything turned out alright or our characters wouldn't exist.

Eh, it isn't for some people.

I'm enjoying my Gold Star and 100k AN, plus the merits I've been picking up just screwing around hitting shit.

Done a merit party directly in between campaigning, picked up 4 merits quickly in the meripo, but it just gets fucking mindnumbing.

I get bored doing campaign in one place, shitfuckingdamn! THERE ARE LOTS OF PLACES TO CAMPAIGN! *shocked*

Two fights are rarely if ever the same, unless you're just afk bludgeoning a Fortification.

Plus, hell, I'm getting easy, relaxing, merits in my "downtime", and profiting selling Cobra shit. Yay?

The "Red Haubert" set has yet to come out yet (we see NPCs wear them).

That (unlikely) should have good stats ...

I'll probably get into it eventually, but right now I'm trying to concentrate on doing my AU missions.

Oh wait.. I'm already further along on Wings than I am on AU.

    Just get the maws so when someone invites you to exp in the new zones they dont have to violently break their hands when you say 'i have no maws' >.>;

I haven't really done much. I got the Maws on the Bastok and Sandy legs, but have not yet travelled towards Windy. Campaign looks boring to me, but I need to do some soon. My buffer is starting to suck.

I went to the Maw in Batallia. It ported me to Saura, and I clicked it again and it spit me out at the maw in the future in Saura. I ran out to town to go to a diff maw but it didn't work. So... I have yet to get 4 people to help me through garliage.

    Re: WotG Laziness.

I remember the same thing happening when ToAU came out, people drug their feet on the early missions while a few of us did them as soon as possible. Then Salvage came out, suddenly people had to play catch up and there was much panicking. After that people drug their feet on the new missions while a few of us did them as soon as possible. Then Captain rank came out, suddenly people had to play catch up and there was much panicking.

Now WotG came out, people are dragging their feet on the early missions while a few of us are doing them as soon as possible.

    Seems to be a pattern...

    Re: WotG Laziness.

so far, i got 5 Maw but I done nothing for the mission and quest beside getting all maps. Which same for ToAU mission where I still in the CS before khimaira BC. Feeling meh about the mission rewards since none of them really fit into my jobs/i got some other ring that can be replacement of them.
