It's been 5 months or so since I've got to merit my NIN. This being because I was capped on merits till my Sam got to 75. Anyways, I went to Mamool Ja today and I was getting some nice Highs for Jins. Most were averaging 1k and I got a few really nice ones. I've exped here a ton and never got within 300 of these 2 highs.

I used U/U for awhile, but I have used senj/unji a lot though as well. I did a lot of meriting on war with Nins in pt so Ive pted with many. The best Jins Ive seen in mamool ja were 2 1500s on the blm mamool by a nin friend of mine. ppl here say its not too uncommon but I haven't seen these numbers before from Nin at mamool Ja Staging pt.

Jin averaging at 1k means you don't parse, that's all there is to it.

Never said I parsed, but in the pt today many wses were 1200 and most of the rest around 900. The average wasn't exactly 1k but around that. The only exception would be the Nin mamools where most were 700-900.

It's just the setup. I've xped on my THF with a NIN, DRK, COR, BRD, and RDM; and I was doing spikes of 1500 DE on mamools and 2000 DE on sea puks, thanks to Rogue/Chaos rolls combined with Minuet IV. Made my thf feel like a monster, was pretty fun.

As I said I didn't make the topic for other 1h wses. Ive seen tons of thf do 1800 De's in mamool Ja. If your a ninja you would know how Jin dmg is. I could post countless 2k+ rampage screens but I didn't make the post for that. If your not going to post on the topic, why even post?

EditIf there is a better forum for this post, I would appreciate any mods who would move it there. This seemed to be the place to post this since I didn't see any Ninja forums, but alas it seems like the wrong place -.-)

No one cares if you hit high numbers with a high STR/DEX build and buffed out the ass, everyones done it before and your build isn't even that amazing. But here, because your damage is so amazing have some cake .

That's pretty good. The best I've ever gotten on a Jin was 1350ish, that was with a bard and squid sushi on birds. Basically, you got a lot of double attacks and crits in ur ws, which is why it did so much. It's just the random luck of the draw, my Jins are usually around 650, and about once per merit pt I get one over 1k, then out of nowhere I hit one for 1350.

I'm not sure but apparently you think I'm trying to bragg. I'm trying to see if other nins are hitting these highs with a similar build because I have used this build many times in better pt setups and not got these numbers. If I wanted to bragg I would have posted 20 SSes of 2500+ wses from war. Obviously my gear isnt that great. Never said it was. If you would have read the 5 or so times I said it. (Im curious about other NINs and how their numbers are at mamool ja!) seriously, reading is fun on occasion, you should try it.

Ninjas with high STR builds and lucky crits/da's will get the same numbers, its not like your special or something. Though if you want advice ditch the Osode for a Haub+1 for more stable jins (but then you won't be able to come here and talk about your cool double attack high STR jins!)

I haven't exped in thickets on nin for a LONG time as I tend to stick to colibri (puks are fucking annoying), but I really can't see 1k average jins.

Osode sucks compared to Haub, and Haub+1 blows it out of the water. Hes using HQs or small upgrades like Triumph Ring and Marine M Boots, so I'd assume he had a Haub if not a +1. That whole arguement is worthless because he posted in the gear thread with a Haub+1 but I thought it would be fun to explain.
And yes no one averages 1k :Jins in merits except for like...mire or something.

I actually have hauby+1 but I was trying out Osode to see how wses were in Exp. Yea the average wasn't 1k. What I meant was the average good ws was 900-1k, I didn't mean they averaged 1k on a parse. Everyone gets those orz 400-600 ones where hits miss or buffs are all off.

This is really just annoying, can't post on KI because of idiots. Posting here ppl nitpick about the smallest details and completely avoid what Im going for. ppl tell you to use old threads then bitch when you bump them. It's really just getting old. Posted here hoping to get some serious responses from advanced players. Not kids thinking Im bragging or ppl making ignorant remarks. I think I'm gonna give up on forums.
