Is it possible to solo him on BLM doing grav -> nuke? Apparently he's highly resistant/straight unsleepable. My main concern is running out of time.

I'd say it's doable if you're good at not getting hit while kiting/nuking something like that. You're going to need your 2hour and probably a vile elixir/+1. Time is the only thing that has stopped me from doing it as RDM/BLM, sucks when it docks at like 10% or something.

I'd also say time would be the limiting factor for Proteus. The only time I've fought him, the boat docked at 1%. Never seen him since, and quite annoyed by it.

People say it's "impossible" to get it, as the time constraints on reaching the top of mountain from the start point are near impossible, even if you had a NIN/THF, with Flee, @ Night and AF feet and such, so if you got it, it'd trigger a flag saying "This guy cheated."

A LS mate of mine thought of a way to get it, though I think it'd be pretty tricky. He wanted to position several people capable of strategically tractoring someone up the mountain. Preferably a NIN, since they can die on command, with the last person being a RDM who can CS and Tractor > Raise very quickly. I wonder if anyone's actually tested this?

Might lose the keyitem when you zone (Tractor). It's definately impossible though, even with permenant flee you wouldn't be able to run up it that fast.

Even with movement speed items/spells/etc, you can still run into the smoke walls unless you get a perfect run which isn't very likely.

I've seen a Black Mage use it during a Tiamat fight and she didn't get jailed, though it seems like quite a flag for someone to just call a GM or something.
