Falcons 16-0? oh wait you're just one of those patriots fans not from the new england area, my bad.
So I can cheer for a team and their accomplishment? I didn't know I had to be from that area to like a team.

Also, I think Falcon's fan should be able to cheer for something this year and with the shit storm in Atlanta we should be given a 1 year pass to pick up a new team.

Lassie died sometime in November and now has completely decomposed. So here I sit clapping for a maggot filled carcass. My life sucks

Wait...we have to be from the area to pull for said team?

    Well fuck.
majority of pats fans ive had the pleasure of meeting are from nowhere near New England, of that about 90% are bitches, of those bitches about 75% are dudes. fair weather fans and band-wagoners are just a pet peeve of mine.

edit: i grew up in fort worth and now live in Washington DC. i hate almost every dallas fan ive met out here because they are silly ass fair weather fans that know nothing of the team or its history and think emmitt smith, troy aikman, and mike irvin were the first players the team ever had.

    Re: Week 17 Patriots Picks

I have pretty strong doubts about the pats making it through the playoffs.

First off, the Colts were up by 10 with 8 minutes left *without their best player.*

More importantly though, in 3 different games, they've played well, not had "bad games" by any stretch, and flat out not looked like the better team at all. In all 3 of those games there were some pretty major controversial calls.

Hay gusy Jacobs is running all over them at will and Eli hasn't gone retarded yet. Let's give the ball to Jacobs like twice in the second half with a 12 point lead and have Eli throw every play so that he'll eventually throw his required interception for the game.

woot - i didn't think that game would be nearly as fun to watch. I care more about playoffs than 16-0 but that was a good time. 4 freaking records, or is it 5 with the most points scored in a season? rediculous. Of course, does it really matter if they don't go 19-0? To me not really. Post season > Season. Jacks/Colts are tough, this AFC is retardedly hard this year... I feel bad for any NFC team in the bowl, these teams are too tough. I always bite my nails at pats vs colts games but man, jags too, damn.

We were actually taking bets on when the mandatory INT (or 2) would be thrown by Eli. Going throughout the first half really knocked out a lot of people. It was a garuntee though.

I think the jags are overhyped. I don't know why, everyone is building them up as january gods, and maybe they are just that. I'm sorry, I just cannot see Garrard being a superbowl winning QB. I know he doesn't pitch INTs and all that. And their running back tandem is pretty sweet. Just don't see them getting there. I do think the chargers have a SHOT (slim) at beating NE, if, and only if, Rivers plays a consistently good 60 minutes. Judging by the past last quarter of the season, I think a healthy colts team would not only beat, but run through the pats without much opposition.

I hope there's a Pats vs. Chargers game in the playoffs. Harrison or Rivers, who can talk more shit?

Far far from for me. I said they were tough, and would be a sucky game. I know many people are building them up and all, but I don't mean to be more than just a difficult game. I think the Pats would have a tougher time against the Colts or Jags than chargers or anyone else. I'm feeling a pats or colts in the bowl vs someone I feel bad for because its a guaranteed loss.

So...the "majority" of the patriots fans you have met live nowhere in or near new england. So you automatically assume that they're bandwagoners? So, by assuming this you also assume that anyone who speaks highly of the patriots be it on forums or real life are bandwagoners as well?

I was hoping that it would be Jags vs Pats in 2nd round and then Colts vs Pats/Jags in 3rd but sadly it didn't work out that way.

Those announcers need to remember that there are still 3 more games New England has to win.
    http://www2.indystar.com/library/fac...n/harrison.jpg

Am I saying New England will lose? No. I will say that I will be shocked if at least one of the 3 remaining games aren't close games. Honestly I hope for bad weather in New England for all games. New England's weakest point is their running game and I think bad weather will hurt them rather than help them like it has in the past.

Obviously 16-0 is an accomplishment and congrats to them, but I can guarantee you that they would trade places with someone else if they don't end 19-0.

If the Jags win their first game, odds are they will be at NE.

    First round:
    (6) Cleve/Tenn at (3) Pitt/SD
    (5) Jack at (4) Pitt/SD

    Second round
Lower remaining seed (4/5/6) at NE (1)
Higher remaining seed (3/4/5) at Indy (2)

Unless Cleve/Tenn wins their first game, a Jacksonville win would take them to NE.
