So anyone else that had the problem with hardware failure on their 360?
Got to send mine up for repairs >_>
How long does it take roughly to get it back?

About a week or so when my friend sent his in. It's really not that long of a wait.
Cool, the search button is broken. Technical must be down too.
Live has been having so many issues lately![]()
Ironic you post this because I just got mine today.Gonna go through withdrawls.
Yah, I'm pretty pissed, lol.
Just got Bioshock for Xmas, been playing the hell out of it.
Couple nights ago it froze on me when I was playing, turned it off, let it sit, played some more, froze again in about 15 minutes.
Today my bro was setting up xbox live and he got the red ring just after he was finishing it up lol.
Well good to know its only about a week, I'll be keeping busy on Wii until then :D
I know people who had it happen and it took over 4 weeks.
I guess maybe it depends on how many units they have to deal with at the time you send yours back?
I'm glad to see i'm not the only one having trouble with Live lately... I was starting to think my 360 was dying on me lol.
Live is being a cunt these days
Yeah tell me about it, last night Exo was like I can't get into the Marketplace, next thing I know my friends and I have trouble with it.
1 week seems optimistic; I think you'd only get a box back that quickly if they sent you new hardware instead of your repaired console. Mine took 5 weeks to come back.
Ewww..
Well the prepaid postage box is otw from Microsoft, guess that'll be about a week to get here, then we'll see how it goes from there :/
I've had my 360 since it first came out, and it finally died over earlier this year with the Red Ring of Death in about...February. Sent it in under the newly extended warranty and got it back in roughly two weeks. However, I had an Elite version returned to me instead of my original.
I've heard some people received theirs back in time spans of 1-2.5 weeks, hardly ever longer than that. Hang in there ˆˆd
It takes about two weeks to get your 360 out and back in the mail. Depending on if they can fix your system or not they'll fix yours or send you a refurbished/new one.
I had my red ring of death happen in August and it took them 5 weeks to return it.
First one week for the pre paid box. Then three weeks for them to attempt to repair before they said fuck it and sent me a new unit. Then another week for that unit to arrive at my place.
Good to know there are more people having Live crap out on them. Its so slow and its causing a lot of my games to load slowly too.
I'm on my 3rd 360 now. My first one took roughly 2 weeks to get back from when I sent it off, the next one was about 5 weeks. They gave me a free Xbox Live card when they sent it back the second time.
My 360 has died twice with that red ring shit. It's been working just fine since the last time I got it repaired back in the summer or late spring I think. Hopefully they're working toward a permanent fix.
Is anyone having issues with Marketplace not loading? I can sign on xbox live and get on FFXI and Halo Multiplayer but marketplace and the live tab will not load...
