Call fung pets and go to town. Probably need 2 pets each, less if your lucky with tp moves. Easier now that you can transfer your enmity to your jug pet. Pet food helps too.

I have never seen it done with nin tank, just pet and kited strategies.

I will also add that I am personally 0/27+ on this bc. There is a very, very, very low likelyhood that you will get a club with 400 seals. 1200 seals, maybe a better chance but even then far from guaranteed.

NIN will get destroyed. PLD is needed for sure if you use that strategy.

I used to go sam/rng, pld, rdm. I was the sam spamming sidewinder. Just make sure the DD is smart and isn't an MP sponge. Also, we learned that use sleep for the first half or so of the fight and when it starts getting resisted use bind or vice versa. You'll be doen good if you win the first time. It took us two tries to start getting the feel for it.

They usually go through 2 pets each, but they've said it's a very smooth fight.

If possible (don't know your job options) you really should go rdm, blm, blm. This BCNM is almost laughable with this setup. As with everyone else I think I am like 0/20+.

PLD+RDM+ any dd is fine. I used to do this PLD +RDM+ a taru SAM before it dropped kc (when Philomath Stole was ~4m) I've also done it as BLU/THF, just ran along with the mob and spammed Bludgeon, did occasional SA Death Scissors (SA moves will need to be timed right to have SA work + not end up out of range) pulled hate a few times off the PLD doing that. RNG is especially good for it, but often makes your PLD pretty useless.

And I never bother with sleep, I just stack dots.

I've succeeded on NIN kiting here, so if you have no choice, you can still win with it. Definitely smoother with PLD, as it has been stated.

Hell, you can rdm/war kite it, apparently. This BC is pretty open for jobs / strategy, in reality.

thanks for your advice. ill probably end up doin a few runs tonight. i did the blm x2 rdm. yeah. a joke pretty much. with 3 sleeps, 2 stuns, grav, its a wrap. 400 seals on me, + 260 on my RDM, and 300 on my gf (the DRK) one drop is all i need ;x

ive been doing this a few times using NIN PLD RDM setup. PLD just kites the mob, RDM enfeebles it and keeps up DoT. I was the NIN, keeping weapons drawn, Id hit it when PLD came near me, landing a blade:jin when I had TP. The rest of the time, Id spam elemental wheel, which would deal 50-100 damage per. Using this strat, we'd beat it in about 7 minutes.

This, being one among many other strats, just use w/e works.
