these are the gayest commercials ever, i hope everyone involved of them dies in a fiery crash
Burger King is one of the few fast food hamburgers I can actually eat.
This is fitting for today since I went to Wendies and they didn't have anymore Spicy Chicken Sandwiches. Let's just say, that Wendies no longer exists.![]()
Ultimate Cheeseburger > Whopper.
Edit: Ok the King coming out himself personally was kickass.
I agree. A normal reaction to no whopper would be "Well, that's retarded of you. Give me a spicy chicken sandwich." or leaving for some other food. Also, if anyone did legitimately get pissed, it's probably more at this annoyance that just got introduced into what most people look for at a place like Burger King, a hassle-free and fast meal.
The videos would be 1000 times more entertaining if it was a big mac.
A whopper is just a freaking burger with everything, a big mac at least is like original and "special" and crap.
Yeah I heard that one on the radio to work and I laughed out loud. Maybe because what he said was so true, lol.Originally Posted by Cjskater
I want to go to that Burger King. You see the size of the whopper that the king gave the people? Fucker had to be 5 inches tall.
Those commercials show us everything that is wrong with modern society.
Seriously, it is just a burger. Instead of having fits, go somewhere else. This reminds me of why when I worked in a convenience store I used the phrase: "The customer is seldom right".
I've never eaten Wendy's in my life![]()
I have to admit that commercial made me want to go out and get a whopper. I guess it worked!
People find a strange comfort in getting something they want, the way they want it. For many people, it's a routine. They may not go to X Burger King and order that sandwich, but they'll go to any of them and order the same thing.
Kill someone's routine and they can go a little crazy. They just took the people who it did and made the commercial.
(And having worked both at a BK and a movie theater, I actually liked both more afterwards. Go figure!)
A while ago I went to SubWay because I had a taste for a Chicken Pizziola sub, the clerk informed me that they didn't carry it anymore. Instead of freaking out, I ordered something else. Another time I wanted a Buffalo Chicken Sub (so good), the guy there said that they didn't have it anymore. Instead of freaking out I just said "bummer" and left. There is a difference between wanting something that you want, and acting like a petulant child.Originally Posted by Kyreth
Actually, if you watch the video the people who were acting like petulant children were the ones who actually ordered a whopper and got a Big Mac or a Wendy's hamburger instead. I think their reaction was dead on. They were insinuating that these people where basically liars by accusing them that they did in fact get a whopper and put another burger in there and then came and asked for a whopper. I think you'd be pretty petulant of someone called you a liar when you knew you weren't.Originally Posted by Septimus
The first part of the video on the website is all about them telling customers that the whopper was discontinued, but the reaction from everyone was shock and disbelief. No one had a fit.
nothing special about a big mac... fuck the mac sauce crap XD its just thousand island dressing with some other crap in it >Originally Posted by Plow

lose commercials are genius, i know what its doing to me and i still let it
I bet many of those people are having/had shitty days at work and were looking forward to lunch and then that got screwed up too. The burger may be more than just a burger, its one of the few things they can look forward to and its ruined for them. If you do this 'prank' to enough people you will eventually fill up a commercial with people getting mad for small things.
