Thank you Notes

I was writing mine and suddenly wondered if anyone else does these since I know none of my friends do.

It's been a tradition for me. I have always done them and it just feels normal for me to write them after christmas and my birthday.

Also wondered if you have ever received one and how it makes you feel :3

Kind of off topic, but I hate them cards you receive around Christmas that family's write about what they have been doing the past year. Its mostly just parents bragging about their child's accomplishments.

On topic, I have only wrote thank you cards when I graduated. Even then after the first 10 I got sloppy and went from writing a short sentence to just "Thank You" and my initials.

I remember one time when I was little our aunt didn't give us christmas presents because we didn't write thank you notes the year before.

hate that too, why i sent around a picture of me shamed saying "Look at me i'm in college!"

but i think the best thank you notes are just a simple "Thank you" in calligraphy

the only time i ever wrote a thank you note was after i graduated high school and my mom guilted me into it.

If i want to thank someone, I call them up and say thank you.
