Yes, a tier IV can go off during a mamool party or something, but not terribly often. You can get hit with Tier IV if you are /NIN too.
    If you get hit with T4 while /nin, you're either sleepga'd with the rest of your party or truly a terrible melee. And just for the record, you think that getting hit with single-target enfeebles rather than blinking them away is a good thing?

    Exactly, sleepga can happen. /NIN is not fool proof like you have been making it out to be. No, i'm not saying it's good - i am saying that it is not something to whine about during a party and can be handled without fuss. In fact, it should be expected if you choose to /SAM.

    4 is greater than 3, I win. And yes I'm assuming, since you like to do it too.

    Incorrect or horribly exaggerated use of the 'flipping out' phrase once again.
    Let me summarize page 2 for you then

    And what good would 3rd eye do for you here? I'm listing disadvantages of 3rd eye, not proving that utsusemi does, in fact, cure aids.

    Sleepga doesn't wipe third eye like it does shadows, so technically in that case the /NIN will be getting hit more(once, to get woken up) provided they have hate. In the event of a sleepga, the healer should be able to get a curaga off asap, but likely the mob will get at least that one swing off.

    But we're talking about being hit by a T4 spell while asleep, not being attacked and woken up.

    Re: War Setup Help

    That summary is lacking some key points. Allow me to clarify with paraphrasing since I don't feel like looking for quotes:
    [quote=RKenshin]
    Comparing GA WAR/SAM and Rid WAR/NIN, this is my experience (insert blahblah situation). However, in the end, I feel the playing field is about equal.

    I am strictly talking about damage capabilities and have no desire whatsoever to go into anything further regarding the advantages/disadvantages of the weapons, equipment choice, SJ choice, etc. I am simply offering up my opinion on GA vs dual wield.

    Do I need to post the definition of hypocrit, or does me pointing out that simple fact upset you?

    Curses put emphasis on my surprise because honestly I thought you were better than that. But apparently that's interpreted as flipping out. So what would you say "HOLY FUCKINNG SHIT LOL WWHHTF UR A HYPOCRIT!!" is?

    Re: War Setup Help

    For someone who made such a big point on versitility with WAR, or at least you appeared to be doing this... You're sure blind to the other sides of the argument.

    Utsesumi and Seigan both have a good amount of advantages and disadvantages over the other. Obviously one is superior for straight damage reduction, but:
    1) That's not the point of this post, no matter what context you take it in.
    2) It was never a point in any of my posts.
    3) The highest damage reduction for every member of a PT/at an event isn't the only thing that matters in this game. It's so incredibly blind to think otherwise when there are obvious sacrifices made to achieve this.

    Better summary:

    OP: can I get some advice for my ridill warrior?
    Others: advice
    Blackice: fuck that shit, use a GA
    Others: bicker bicker bicker
    Aurik: don't listen to them, use DW
    Ruke: GA damage is just as good with /SAM
    Aurik: damage doesn't matter, utsusemi is king
    Ruke: I was talking about maximizing damage, not about how to be an effective warrior
    Aurik: then lets tell him to be a kraken drk
    Ruke: sermon about posting in an unhelpful manner

    The ironing is delicious.

    Pointing out single typos I make in paragraphs of text that I don't review, awesome.

    I'm running Firefox, I see when I get a red line for a misspelling but I don't usually review forum posts before posting them. It's a FF forum, not a writer's forum or a job resume. Who cares how people type, 99% of the people here don't so why do you care how I do it?

    Re: War Setup Help

    Can you two or three or however many u are to agree to disagree? o_O?

    Anyways the guy wanted advice on his ridill war, not an argument of GA WAR/SAM vs Dual Wield WAR/NIN or w/e you people are talking about now *shrugs* don't think the proper place to have a petty argument -_-;

    In the end I feel that bother are just as good gaxe and ridill, I can attain 100+ chains with either well equipped (hopefully the ridill war is at least -_- while the gaxe one is more attainable to everyone) and really in the end as long as I'm getting high xp/hour rates on my COR then I'm more than happy.
