Whats the best server to exp at?

I'm looking to transfer, I'm not really interested in hnm/dynamis/limbus/whatever. What do you guys think would be the best place to go? Odin/Fenrir/Bahamut all look good due to high population, another big factor would the the jponly since a lot of my exp is midnight cst -> 5am cst.

I wouldn't equate higher server population to a better server to exp at.

If anything, the less people on a server, the more camps are available, the less chance of competition, the more xp/hour you get.

And for Lv37->75, the hardest part is finding the people. Theres a lot of camps available, just no one to fill them. At least thats how it is on Kujata.

What you're talking about applies pretty much only to meriting, but seriously, I'm on 34SMN right now... I've been playing Street Fighter 3 for 5 hours while seeking on SMN, no invites.

Of course, when I feel like it I'll make my own parties, but even that takes hours usually.

Finding people is a big problem in the lower levels these days.

I wouldn't base your server choice on exp locations alone.. if at all.

One party I was in, around 66, all the spots were packed. Bibiki, Mire, heck even one pt in Kuftal exping off the Tigers and Cockatrice. We ended up going to Den of Rancor.

Today, I went to Mire and it was absolutely empty. No exp parties, or merit parties, at all. The only other "party" exping off Imps was a BB MNK and BLM duo.

Some days I'll log in and get a party as soon as I put up my flag. Other days, like Sunday, I'll seek for hours and hours before I get a party, if I get one. This not only applies to DD jobs, but my PLD and WHM as well.

We haven't yet! I would've moved to Fairy in a heartbeat (tons of italians, couple RL friends and generally a more EU-friendly environment compared to Japartheidvill...er, Garuda) if only Peppa didn't find the transfer tax outrageously high on top of the usual monthly fee and stubbornly opposed, quickly turning the whole thing in a matter of principle, lol.

Btw, did you change name again or something, my f-list doesn't seem to show your character's name anymore and it's been that way for a while, I'll try to send over another (inter-server) /befriend message later.

Concerning OP, if your primary concern is leveling lower jobs you're best off either going to a high pop server or looking for friends to level it with. Even if you can only find 1-3 other friends to static with, it usually makes the journey a lot easier.

However, if you had to choose one or the other making a static with friends is almost always the fastest and least painful. SMN isn't the easiest job to seek on either.
