Ok, so my account got hacked back at the beginning of September when more accounts started to get hacked.. I have been calling since then and getting the same person for 10calls gets really annoying.. Especially since my brother was the original owner of the account, they won't do anything unless they talk to him.. Been finally waiting for something like this to happen and sent in the form with all the old information.. I won't be too pissed if all my gear is gone, since i've been expecting that for about 5monthes now, I just want my character back... I've been playing on another account that i've been working on, so if I do get her back, I'll just sell my stuff on this guy and re-buy her old gear, as well as being in line for most of the stuff in the ls, going to turn all lots toward her..
I do hope that all of you that have had trouble with this gets your account back and hopefully some gear along with it.. Looking forward to hearing more when you get your accounts back^^;... I'll keep in touch too, hoping to hear something within the week.
Well, I'm still waiting for the confirmation email. I turned in the notorized form last friday, so it has been a week. I talked to them today and they said that they sent it to my email address, but for some reason I didn't receive it. I have been having this issue since last Friday. They kept telling me that it was my email service provider and I should ask them why I am not receiving emails. It didn't seem right that hotamil, yahoo, and gmail all would be blocking emails from SE, so yesterday I gave them a pol email address (from a new account that I created) to send the info to. When I talked to them today, they now say my account is still under investigation. Instead of sending the information to my pol email, they want to investigate on their side why I'm not receiving it at my hotmail account. I guess they can't use the excuse that it is my email provider since they are my email provider now. They also said that the more I call, the more likely that my account will get delayed since it will be flagged multiple times. That seems odd to me as well. I then asked to speak to a manager and he said that one was not available. I've asked about 20 times to talk to a manager and they are never available. I asked if they were ever available and he said they are sometimes, but they are really busy. I asked if I could stay on the line until one becomes available and they said no I can't stay on the line and wait. I wonder if they will ever return my account. I'm sure they will think of a few more hoops for me to jump through before that happens.....

Ill tell you what pisses me off. Tracking information shows SE got my letter on the 4th, and the reps are still telling me my account is still being shown as not receiving the letter yet. I had it sent with that requesting signature thing so the only way itll get delivered is if someone signs for it. So i know those ppl got it, i wonder what they are doing with my letter...
emalliz did. and got his account back, but i think he fedex overnighted his letter the day they announced it, so he was one of the first to get in there, a majority of players probably mailed out friday and thus a flood of them came in monday and so forth. it's just nuts that in 5 days since receiving my letter that i'm still THAT far at the bottom of the pile... must have 1 person in there doing like maybe 2-3 forms an hour... rediculous.Originally Posted by Kiakasha

1. No one but myself knew my Id/or passwords. I had 2 passwords on the viewer one was auto fill the other I had to type and both were different.
2. I didn't use any third party programs or the windower
3. 4 different scans from 4 different programs were clean no trojans etc. Updated and scanned daily.
4. I' m behind a firewall.
5. Did separate searches for the svehost.exe,rsbo.exe,kb1ss1p.dll,kb1ss1p.sys,andin 3.dll,to include the registry and found nothing.
6. I had Internet explorer.
A few days before I was hacked I was soloing and kept getting booted because my spyware kept kicking in, something wanted to change files I didn't recognize so I kept saying no to the changes but I couldn't get it to clear. Finally I had to shut down my computer to get it to clear.

There's got to be other ways. I use firefox, firewall, AVG etc etc etc and I still lost my account. There's more going on here than just keyloggers and IE exploits.
However, if I do ever get my freakin' toon back, I'm tempted to do a reformat before use him again.

Just an FYI on the latest email problems at SE. I just got off the phone with them today and I asked them if they sent the confirmation email (after turning in the Notarized form) to me. I asked them if they could investigate why I didn't received it at my POL account and they said they don't deal with that. I have no idea what to believe at this stage. All I can say is if you are one of the lucky ones and actually received an email from them you should be jumping for joy.
I think they are using this "we sent you an email already" line as a method to buy more time. I am not exactly sure what "we are investigating your account" means but apparently it takes a long time. So by saying they are trying to send you an email I think they think they bought more time to do whatever it is SE is trying to accomplish.Originally Posted by Bungee
