So until the new policy is implemented, still can't do anything, nothing new there......but hopefully they get their new policy ironed out soon. Still impatiently waiting for a LS member to return.

I imagine the delay is around all the sold accounts and differentiating those attributed to the targed IGE hack and otherwise.

Did anyone else get this email from SE?? I didn't get an email and they told me I was on the list of accounts that are being investigated. It's kind of strange if they didn't send them to everyone on the list...

I haven't gotten this email, and I'm on the list... however, I haven't even been contacted to fully identify my account, so I'm a step behind in that regard. I've gotten two "number withheld" calls on my phone today with no message left, though, so I'm kinda hoping maybe that's SE. Has anyone on the list recieved a callback but missed the call and had a message left for them? Doesn't make sense that they WOULDN'T leave a message, but really, I don't associate "SE customer service" with "sense".

They asked you guys for emails? When i called i didnt get asked for an email when the support chick told me i was being locked. They asked for a phone number and thats pretty much it along with the usual info and when everything went down.

Have they even contacted anyone back? ._.

Yar. The second time I called to see what was up, the one useful and polite employee I talked to said they were using a new information form for the compromised accounts. The only info I hadn't given them was my email addy, so he added that. I haven't been asked when it took play and that stuff, though. But I don't have POL reg codes, so waiting, waiting, and more waiting.

Would be nice if they actually seemed to have a standard set of questions that EVERY employee asked, instead of just the ones who actually care somewhat about their jobs.

Finally some progress. If I ever need to call POL again, I'm never talking to anyone but this "Terrence" fellow. If he's not working, I'll sit on hold until he does. I've gotten him twice now and both times he was actually useful. Anyways, called today, and finally got confirmation that my account has been frozen and "escalated" whatever that means. (According to Terrence, it means investigated). For whatever reason, the normal rep screen didn't show my account as frozen. So he checked with his supervisor (OMG! They exist!) and came back with the above info. Nothing huge. But, at least I know I'm on the list now.

Of course, there's nothing to be said about any new policies or a timeframe for getting our characters back... but after wondering for the past two weeks if I was being whored out for RMT TH4, I'm content to know I'm not.

Same for me, the email was in the spam folder Not much to say about it, I guess that having a confirmation of the accounts being frozen is already something. At this point it would be in their interest too to come up with a solution as fast as possible.

Indeed, he's a very nice person. I spoke to him a couple times during the first week of my account being compromised. He was the only helpful and understanding representative there at the time.

I also remember this one girl that helped me out a great deal, she asked me to state any piece of gear that may have been tradable/sellable and how much gil I had at the time. She typed it all up and tagged it to my account information then told me it was saved for a manager to check later on.

Unfortunately, I can't remember her name for the life of me. ~.~

yeah... i've used my "one time restore" too on a damn bomb core a couple months before they made the bomb cores unthrowable...

I highly doubt that restoration policy will apply to hijacked accounts that are returned.. all or nothing, damnit...

The reps say its possible to restore an account and its up to the decision from higher up, so my fingers are crossed... they are taking a while to sort stuff out ~.~
