I'm very glad a good portion of zenmetsu left shiva. Our server actually had a system very close to Bahamut's before these.."things" came along. If a ls was about to wipe to fafhogg or what have you, leaders from every ls present, jp/na/hk you name it, gathered, and randomed for the right to claim. Those that lost the random, left. Simple as that. Maybe the shell @2 on random would stay, just in case, but everyone else warped out without a second thought. That only changed because of how openly proud zen was of wasting real life money on bots and buying gil. There was never really any skill, as i'm sure you're all aware of from that marvelous fafnir performance, just "how many people can we throw at this"?

Once the banhammer started dropping on botters and gilbuyers, zen blew apart from the inside out (suprise suprise). I'm sorry you guys have to deal with them now, but it's been alot calmer around this server since a great deal migrated. At least you guys have something to laugh at now, right?

I think I have the most vocal Shiva player badge somewhere around here and I'm not angry at least =p But yeah I agree with everything you said here. Most Shiva players don't even post on forums anymore, not since ffvault forums died a long long time ago.

First, I would like to know if Aphina's LS still thinks that every LS in Bahamut was in cahoots against them and mpked them. If you haven't yet realized that your own mistakes in fighting Fafnir caused it to flail, then you guys really are pretty damn ignorant.

Now we move on to our newest celebrity, Daak.

You do understand that we are not saying that we are impervious to MPK right? Anyone can be MPKed. What we are saying is that we have a system that extremely limits the amount of MPK that actually takes place around here. I can't even remember the last time one of the "Bahamut LS Alliance" members MPKed each other; it simply doesn't take place and, if it does, it's once every two blue moons. The fact that you think that a system where there are no rules of civility is better than one where there are is beyond me. Nobody loves each other here; there is tons of animosity between almost all the endgame LSes on this server, but we at least care a little bit about not allowing NM camps to become complete shit-holes.

Also, did you learn your logic from a dyslexic pigeon? You say that your system is flawless because you have no rules or guidelines? That is the most retarded thing I have ever heard. I'm call you a retard not because I'm jumping on the bandwagon with everyone else here; rather, I'm calling you a retard because you really are. Doing absolutely nothing is a lot worse that doing something and having flaws. I wouldn't call our system flawless, but I will tell you that your "system" has tantamount more flaws that ours. Here is the bottom line and I will use the simplest words possible because I know I've probably confused you with big words up until now. On Bahamut, we barely ever see MPK and if we do, it's because some renegade LS comes along and decides not to respect the general sense of civility we have established. For the most part, NM claims are clean and the LSes that claim don't have to worry about foul play. On your server, your NM camps are wastelands and suck. I wonder which system has more flaws hmmm...would I rather live Golden Age 1970's America or live under WW2 Soviet Russia...gee that's a really hard choice; virtually free payment for college or execution under the glorious five year plan...

From what I can really deduct here is that you guys are saying you "killed" this ls because they flailed a Fafnir then the leader proclaims vengeance. The fact is your e-thuggish mentality is the same reason that makes you no better than said ls leader. From what I can see, all that has been done is hacking someones forum.../golfclap.

The general argument for their side is this, of which sadly they do not understand, nor do you. They can ruin the game for you just as much as you can ruin it for them. No matter what there will eventually be a breaking point as there was on shiva. It does not matter how many linkshells will band together to stop the great evil, this is just history repeating itself and frankly, if i wanted to i could take my ls over to lolBahamut and diminish any sense of "order" i could.

I'm not really going to get into the history of shiva or my ls here, it will take way too long. All I can really say is that this is a thread for fanboys to post how much they love each other and illogical one sided arguments. As far as things go, you letting this small small thing effect you so greatly really proves your weakness.

The point you fail to understand is that on Bahamut, we do not try to destroy linkshells. These people came from Shiva and said on their forums, without provokation, "We will not follow your rules." This earns the ire of anyone who works as hard as we do to make sure that when we're wasting our collective 3 hours in the aery, we don't have to worry about dickheads ruining it for us if we do happen to claim. How people choose to express their displeasure is up to them, but the players of Bahamut are not the aggressors in this situation.

I simply don't see the point in not following simple rules. Why create an endless stream of MPK and animosity when you could just gather everyone by a waterfall, /random, and be done with it? The odds of winning a random are far, far greater than winning claim, so why not? Why resort to anarchy when you can just go about getting on with your life, not having to worry about people trying to jack your shit? What is so bad about a little civility?
