You don't gain that much exp anyways so it really wasn't too much of a waste.

QFT, I was like 'wow' when I saw how little XP/SP I got.

Also, what are these 'slot seeds'? I can't seem to find them anywhere in my inventory.

They increase the number of skills an immortal can use. They should be in your items somewhere, and they are very good to get so I would make a point to search them out if you know you missed them.

Also, I like how Gongora, being a magician kinda guy, doesn't fit your stereotypical frail dude in a long robe magic user you see in most games.

That's correct! it's under your items list where you find your healing items and such...should be mid to near the end of the list. There's 48 but I heard you can steal an extra one from a boss later in the game.

One question, I keep getting weapons/rings that match up (demon ring/demon sword). Do i need to wear both to get the effects? Does the weapon carry the same effects as the ring? Thus I would be able to use weapon on one person and ring on another and get the effects on two people? Any perks to using them together or not?

I've always wondered this too, I haven't noticed an added benefit though and usually don't pair it up because I only use rings on my front 2 (Seth and Kaim).

Equipping both doesn't do anything as far as I can tell... just like you don't have to wear full adaman/armada in FFXI.

Just finished it... Don't want to spoil it, but I thought the ending was horrible, including the final boss 'fights'. Rest of the game was so awesome

Oh well, just need to do ToE, Backyard, get the final few skills for my Immortals, and then determine if I want to spent 10hours wandering around for the final achievement.

No, but they ask you if you want to save just before going into the the final boss "dungeon", which ends up just being the boss fights without any actual exploring. The game will keep telling you there's no turning back, but there is. The only time there is no turning back is when it asks you if you want to save (and you'll see the naultilus ion the world map in the background of that popup for a save...) It's the only time in the the entire game where it asks you if you would like to save (other than swapping discs I guess) so it's pretty obvious where it is. Once you get there, save and turn around and you can explore whatever you want to explore before going back there and beating the game.

im doing whatever sidequests i can for now while i have the option to travel around.

i do have a couple questions for this part
1- can anyone recommend a place to lvl up skills/farm stuff? i have been messing around in the terrace cave. getting SPs and components. i know exo mentioned a place that gave 20SP per battle with doubleSP skill.

2- as far as storyline goes, after the start of disc4, do you enter that burning cave underwater?

I ended up leveling a lot of skills running around old areas doing quests like the magic gauges. Everything dies in one hit and with double SP you can get 6-14 SP a fight depending on the number of enemies you're fighting.

As far as SP goes, either terrace cave of forgotten cave are the best places to go (the later has the 20sp mobs, btw.. but not all of them give 20, just the bats but they do engage you pretty often, and the other enemies give you 8-16 per fight with double sp.)

As far as storyline goes, I believe you have to try and get past the hypercurrents, and then some little cutscene will pop up where they say they have to figure out a way to get past it (in order to get to Numara)... you need to go to the SE continent and enter a cave which will pop you in the lake in the middle of the continent, which will lead you to the ancient ruins... there you will find a stone that upgrades the nautilus and lets it travel through the hypercurrents. Once you do that, head to Numara and the rest of the storyline is there. Once you beat it you'll have access to the entire world.

If a game sells well enough, they can always setup for a sequel, even if the storyline appears to be finished! I think it could go either way, just depends on interest.

But like Exo said, make sure you save. You don't get a prompt to go into the final area. Once you trigger it, a CS plays automatically and you're in the final fights.

1: You can always level in Numara Atoll when it reopens, it caps at about 51ish or you can do Secret Caves, those Experiment #42 gives you 10SP (will also level you to about 50, but you can push it to 52 but it will take a bit longer). There was also something about characters being under level 42 having a hard time with them (you will need to set the skill for anti-petrify too).

2: click here. You get to the inlet and then you have to dive under and steer towards the island and you will get to the ruins, this will trigger the CS and you can continue on with the story. Also, as a warning...those Elmons (known as Trooky here) that we hate...are back along with these mobs called Money (steals money).

whats the lvl cap in the last dungeon you cn xp in? doesnt seem like that many fields to be able to lvl up too much.

Run around the higher floors in Temple of Enlightenment, and keep double experience points on... you can get up to 99 there with a little patience (xp drops after 67~ but with double xp you'll still get 10-20 per fight, and some enemies there like the black kelolons will still give you a full level until you're way into your 80-90's.)
