couple questions for end-game stuffs.
for groundus and aquaus, it says they are located at grand staff. is it the construction base or is it the actual grand staff that you go to for storyline? ive checked the construction site and didnt see it, so im assuming its further in the story.
and i cant remember exactly but i think i may have seen that the game prompts you to say you cant return, but you still can?
It's located in Grand Staff #2... just keep playing the storyline until the game physically asks you to save your game... when that happens you know you're just before the ending of the game, and you can still go back and do whatever before going in for the final boss fights.
When the game prompts you that you won't be able to return, you can ALWAYS return after beating that dungeon... I believe it says that two or three times... ironically, it doesn't tell you that before going into the final area, but it does pop up the world map and ask you if you would like to save, so my suggestion is do that and then go back to the Auction House to see if you're missing anything else. If at any point the AH is closed with a sign outside the door saying the auctions for the day are finished you know you've completed getting items that aren't accessible anymore.
You can go anywhere and do anything up until you reach the mirror area. It's the only area in the game that will ask you to save before you enter, and you'll know you're there because it's in the middle of some mountains. You can easily turn around in the nautilus and go do whatever you want before completing the game.Originally Posted by IncredibleGulk
Ok...
So i started the pirate quest, have been to temple of enlightenment, have beaten the forgotten cave NM, and the royal seal NM, and the kelolen king NM... and still dont have Ming's harp to fight Holy beast. Where do I get this >.<
Um... where she plays the harp in the first place? lol... it's on the white boa in her room in the residential/guest area.
i just beat the holy beast last night. and yes, the harp is in the white boa. but it confused me too cause i didnt put two and two together and think that Ming's harp was what she was playing when jansen comes in. i figured it was just something she would have or you'd find. but like exo said, its in the queens chamber. on the boa -> elevator to guest area -> zone due north.
atm, ive unlocked all of the zones available after you get the boa. doing whatever treasure hunts / invis chests i can do. havent explored the temple or the forgotten cave yet. before this, i skilled everyone up so they were caught up with all available skills. immortals are 51-52, mortals are 49-50, and im at about 70 hours or so. seems like i should have alot more done with that playtime, but its not too bad cause its not like ive really wasted much time. keeping interest after 70 hours, including more storyline to finish is pretty impressive.
Ya.... when I found it I was like "oh... so it was in the obvious place...".
Just didnt put 2 and 2 together, was thinking it was some tiny harp she could carry around.. >.>
Haha I did the same thing too, don't feel bad.Originally Posted by Neosutra

haha, same here.
for the crimson forest, im coming up 1 short on fragments for the painter. ive scoured the area a bunch of times, so its not in plain sight. is there any specific one that stands out as being the toughest to find?
for the temple of enlightenment, is the angel guard and magical lock key the only special things here? aside from the treasure hunt and the boss. and will the auction house offer any items i may have missed?
The AH only carries items from areas you no longer have access to so no, if you miss an item there it will remain there until you pick it up.
If you want to make sure you grab everything from it, go to youtube and type in "Temple of Enlightenment", some guy created a guide of the entire game and has a good 20~ vids of the 400~some it took him to beat the game from start to finish where he goes through Enlightenment and grabs every single item and then defeats the boss. It's what I used to make sure I had everything there, and I got the treasure achievement shortly afterwards so I know for a fact he covers all of them.
Ok, so just beat the game..
Ending wasnt bad, but dear god I have to get this off my chest:
Puzzle maps are fine for alternate areas, but for FUCK SAKE can you please not make me climb 50 fucking ladders, hit 40 buttons to turn off steam engines, that push me off the tight rope I have to walk across, to get to the elevator that I turned on with the buttons, just to get to something to fucking progress the story.
Jesus titty fucking christ, I went to grand staff thinking I was going to fight gongora and had 2 hours of bullshit puzzle maps and 2 cock teases till I even got to fight him (oh you get to fight him now! /psych, he got away).
If you are going to make a great CS to build up to charging into the area and the need for "urgent" dispatching of Gongora, please fucking put in a god damned elevator to get to him.
Grand Staff #1 was fucking annoying as hell to figure out, Grand Staff #2 was extremely simple though.
So I'm finally working on finishing up my achievements and am looking for the few seeds I missed and while running through Numara I notice I still can't enter the back part of Ninn's Boutique. This is probably something incredibly simple I am missing, but what is it?
Edit - nevermind, figured it out, guess I didn't talk to the right person enough times or something D:
None of the maps were hard. Im talking about pure useless time wasting, when the mood of the story was supposed to be "fuck ya lets get there fast and stop gongora!". Puzzle maps have there place, but making -every- map a puzzle map (however easy) is fucking retarded. Dont replace good story with mazes and call it a good time.Originally Posted by Exoduso
