Ok so I was browsing the forums of this little strategy game I play called PoxNora and someone mentioned "Syobon". So I googled it and found this hilarious youtube video and a link to download the actual game.

I love all of these mario remakes with comically difficult levels. You should check out Super Kaizo World if you like this kind of stuff. My favorite part of that video is 4:30. He's near the end yet he suspects something is going to kill him. He pauses for a brief moment to contemplate this.

You hit the block with the guy that throws, then let him jump on that trampoline that'd normally kill you. Before he lands on it, jump over him and the trampoline so he throws you while he's being launched upwards, then run across the top of the level.

Holy shit, me and my friend Andy used to play bounds all the time. He was alot better than me because he was Korean and was like naturally adapt at Starcraft for some odd reason lmfao. But it was fun. I remember him making a bound too. Good times.

It was a type of UMS where you would like try to get through a series of timed obstacles that required precise control of a unit (usually a Ling, sometimes a Zealot) to get through these obstacles. For example a series of exploding Devourers that would kill you if you were in there area when they exploded....

It's really hard to explain now that I think of it, might be easier to just show someone a video, lemme look.

My 2 favorites UMS were frogger and Nuke war or something (the one where you had to avoid nonstop nuke for 20min in a maze).

wtf how the hell do i get past the flag pole?! i saw the vid, and am trying to jump it, i try going from step 4 to get speed, i also get as far as over the pole, but then get drawn into it almost and slid down

Keep trying lol, took me a few trys. You have to practice jumping though, the game gives you a higher jump if you land from a jump and immediately jump again. Just keep holding right and jump at the right time and you should be able to jump again nicely.

Wow just realized I posted my reply to this thread in that other games thread... I beat this, wow is it annoying at times. It's like playing Mario in Jumper style.
