I'm glad I work in the engineering field. The only females I work with are other engineers and they're as geekish as I am.

What I will agree with is the female government counterparts of ours that work in the admin fields. Those ladies can get down right nasty and can make it so getting simple paperwork filled out and stuff is damn near impossible to happen. Thank God, I rarely have to deal with them and just the two girls that work in the Information Assurance part of my shop.

When I first started my last job, I thought it was a good thing to be the only guy among 9 women. I know better now.

It was the most incredible thing to watch a chain reaction of mood and emotion spread through the place on a whim. You begin to get a sense of when to try and be invisible, hair sticking up on the back of your neck type shit.

The worst offenders I've encountered have been in government offices. Predominantly women working in administrative positions who are in their 40s or 50s, as far advanced in position as they possibly can get and just fucking determined to make sure that the pace of business goes as slowly and as rigidly as possible. The only thing they have control over is the flow of administrative documents and regulations and by god do they make sure everyone knows they have power in that regard. I've had very insightful briefing papers and policy position papers returned to my desk before going out to their intended Director or ADM because they weren't in EXACTLY the proper format, and been harangued for instead of following an inanely long chain of administrators to solve a problem with a contract I went right to the contract manager responsible and fixed a problem in 2 hours instead of 2 weeks. In my own bitter and annoyed opinion, the reason why government bureaucracy moves so slowly isn't the executives, analysts, or professionals - it's the lethargic administrative and clerical staff bogging everything down with miniature details of little relevance for internal business.

It's probably both funny and sad that I knew you were talking about the Canadian govt. administration before even seeing it on the side. I've worked as an admin with the govt. as a temp (for 4 months) and sat by three others. They are exactly as described, and yet they get paid damn decently. I did the job without any prior experience and my boss didn't want to find a permanent replacement, I guess because he wasn't used to things getting done *now*. There was even an issue with a line that came to our phones because the department used to be different, and nobody had changed it, so we kept having to tell the callers they had the wrong number and transfer them usually for the 5th time. I actually had Bell come in and change it to a direct forwarder with options so they didn't have to talk to someone and be annoyed about the constant forwarding, just press a button and there you go. I actually had to 'fight' with the other admins to get them to be the voice that gives the prompts, even when I had created the dialogue and nothing had to be done except to speak. I noticed they only did things on time that would get them recognition by their superiors, and that's it. They were also pretty unhelpful, when I'd ask for some assistance, they'd tell me to look it up. I guess being 20+ years younger is just asking for punishment

I work in a bar with all kinds of waitresses. They're all sick, twisted whores. Though, it is incredibly fun when the girls start to fight over stupid shit. "I WANTED A CHAI TEA, BITCH! DON'T YOU FUCKING LISTEN? THIS IS WHY YOUR BOYFRIEND FUCKS ME WHEN YOU CLOSE" which later turns into a 6 month grudge and backstabbing. It's fun to watch.

All the women I work with are pretty cool minus one or two. They're all just normal people who do their jobs. They all have different personalities though thats for sure lol.

One of the higher ups here is a woman, and she treats everyone like shit. Constantly talks down, slanders others to get ahead, etc. But, when you talk to her, she'll be the nicest person ever. Also, she doesn't do shit. She delegates EVERYTHING to my boss. It's pretty frustrating to watch who's just like "whatever, stupid cunt."

Fuck sake, my boss does something so fucking idiotic every day, and then blames me for it. The owner/my boss is female, as stated earrlier, the HR/ACCT person is female and the secretary is female, all idiotic bitches.

Fuck, my boss' husband comes in over night and shits all over this place, and then I get blamed for it in the morning. She tells her daughter to tell me that she doesnt want to speak/see me for the rest of the day. Im like wtf bitch, I didnt even do it, and youre sure the hell acting mature about it. What kind of boss says "I dont want to see or talk to you for the rest of the day"? Seriously? This isnt one of youre failed marriages, this is a fucking business you should probably discuss what happened and clear up problems so your company doesnt fail, instead of PMSing everywhere.

I took a 12 'vaction' over the holidays and I got called every day because they kept fucking things up. And when I came back from my vaction she gives me all this bullshit saying that I should have came in and solved the problem instead of doing it over the phone. Im thinking in my head wtf, first of all everything was going fine untill you and your husband came in and started messing with all of this shit, and why the fuck would I come in on my vaction? Granted I didnt go anywhere, but if I was fucking out of state, do you expect me to cancel my trip short, fly back, and deal with your ass? Fuck no, youre lucky I even picked up the phone you bitch.

My previous firm was all female. Two female sister attorneys (inheirited firm from daddy), female bookkeeper, female receptionist, female secretary, female paralegal, female assitants, female office manager, ect. The two attorneys were feminists, one was president of the female lawyer association for the state of washington. They were bitches. The whole firm was a bitch.

I don't know why they hired me, but they did. I was the only male. They made it this big deal in the interview about getting along with females and whether I could handlle it. I can of course get along with SANE females. However, that firm was CRAZY. They were all shittalkers. Nice to your face, stab you in the back. Except for one, the older sister. She would just talk shit to your face, and she was good at it. She would make me feel so shitty for aboslutely nothing. Just things she sees as "wrong" in her head, when the reality was everything was fine.

I think it was a game for her. She would spend a few weeks or a month praising you, telling you how great you were, how far you'll go, ect ect. Then you'll make one tiny error, something minor and easily fixed and she would tear you the fuck apart. Repeat this cycle ad nausea.

I finally had enough one day and quit (hired 2 hours later by a huge firm, who's female attorneys and staff are awesome.)

Been working there for two years, and it's just gotten 100x worse the past few months, ive thought it over and over, and it's not worth it staying. Im pretty sure shes certifiably crazy. Ill be going back to school to get a business degree and alreadyhave a part time job lined up, staying there would just make my future career worse. I was never going to make it a life time job, so I might as well end it now.

Now if i had a boss like that I wouldn't put up with that shit, I would pull her ass off to the side or in her office and tell her off. I wouldn't let anyone talk to me like that, I don't give a flying fuck if your the president of the united states you aint above a good old fashion telling off.

I had a woman boss when i was younger, I worked at office depot about 7 years ago. The head store manager got fired after the store wasent doing well and they appointed this lazy fucking bitch as interm manager that no one liked. One day the District manager was making daily visits to the store overseeing operations came in, he told me to start clearing the stock room because a big truck was coming in two days and needed a lot of room in there. I was doing my thing clearing it and that fat fucking lazy bitch comes in asks me what i'm doing then puts me on something she was supposed to do, lo and behold i get shit from the DM for it.

From there on she just kept bothering me until i snapped on her infront of customers, I called her a fucking space cadet and told her she was fucking retarded. I took my name tag off and tossed it in the store and proceeded to call her an idiot a few more times while some of the workers started to laugh because they knew she was a fucking retard as well.
