At the following time, we performed a version update of FINAL FANTASY XI.

[Important Update Details]

-In the Campaign Ops "Vanguard-X I/II/III", an issue concerning NPC behavior has been addressed.

-In the Campaign Ops "Delta Strike I/II/III", an issue where monsters disappear during battle has been addressed.

-An issue was addressed where travel time by boat may have been shorter than usual in the following areas was addressed:
Open sea route to Al Zahbi
Open sea route to Mhaura
Silver Sea route to Al Zahbi
Silver Sea route to Nashmau

-Position of NPC "Zahsa Syalmhaia" has been changed.

Everything looks accounted for in the previous zone listing. Zahsa Syalmhaia is the NPC in Windurst Woods that talks about how the Mithra were given their grove in Windurst Woods as reward for their performance in the Great War.

Not a joke if the ride is too short to kill any NMs that may pop. I don't know if that was actually the case for the update, but just an example.

Why complain about an update that only took a few zones down for a few minutes and didn't even take the servers down? Seriously.

I noticed this on Delta Strike II when I tried to solo it as BLU... I kept losing claim on the mob I was fighting, then reclaimed for a second... lol. I thought I was going crazy or doing something wrong. Glad that wasn't the case... Well, at least with that. >.>
Needs moar AA fixing, though... :hynotoad: demands it!

Even if they did say January, I wouldn't be surprised if it's been pushed off into February. How far apart are those little teasers and the actual patch usually?

Me too, me too.

Though it may be that they're taking our gripes into account (and boy do some of us have a lot) and opting to delay the patch and its announcements in order to fill it with more content, especially the job updates and Nyzule weapons, not to mention continuation of WotG. Would you rather have 4 large content additions in a year, or 8 small content additions? I opt for the former since it's more content introduced at one time and (theoretically) fewer interruptions between those updates.

I have no idea... Anyone find where they moved her? Possibly into the grove since that's what her dialog refers to?

When SE snuck some Valentine's event gear into one of the many December maintenances/updates, I figured that the version update was pushed back to late February.
