seriously WTF wow moment
I wtf'd truly.
What
The
Hell
saw this earlier, quite amusing.
They've had off beat characters in the past. I think I read Link from Legend of Zelda was in one iteration.
Be kind of cool to use Vader and Yoda, especially if they have force powers.
Holy fuck, win.
I dunno if anyone's seen the trailers for this game, but it looks truely amazing visually. The whole Soul series was always one of my favorite fighters.
if my memory serves me right it was the first 3D fighter to use weapons. This gave it instant appeal.
Sure it's one of the biggest WTF's of all time but man they look pretty damn cool. Looks like I now have a reason to actually buy this. I don't think Ivy's body spilling out of her new outfit would have pushed me.
They were too easy... I mean, I put a preorder on SCII, got it, beat it in like 2 weeks, returned and got marvel vs capcom 2 >_>;Originally Posted by Lockecole7
Yeah me neither. Sophitia sealed the deal for me though.Originally Posted by Larsa
You beat a fighter in 2 weeks and you're complaining? The replay value is in the multiplayer...what else did you expect?Originally Posted by Tricen
When you can beat your friends without looking at the screen, the game gets kind boring.

Is Soul Edge the equivalent of Soul Caliber?
I guess I should have said the first "good" fighting game to include weapons, lol
... Soul Edge was the Arcade/PS1 game that came before Soul Calibur (edit: the English version was renamed Soul Blade apparently).where Siegfried beats Cervantes, takes the Soul Edge and turns into Nightmare. Calibur just got a lot more famous.
you need better friendsOriginally Posted by Tricen

With Knightmare in like 4 hits >_>? As long as I win, I win?Originally Posted by Takiwaki
its a pretty deep game. i'll second that you need better friends. The new one i'm sure will have online multiplayer so you can see for yourself then how good the series is with good competition.Originally Posted by Tricen
To OP: thats pretty cool, I know I'll play Vader a lot even if he isn't very competitive (to squash my casual gaming friends)
If he is competitive, WATCH OUT
