The game would likely simply be registering that use of that move is leading to losses.
Just got my ass handed to me by an awesome Astaroth player. This guy is no joke in SC4.
I made a pretty broken cervantes when it comes to beating alot of weak npc lol
195attack 81defense 95hp
impact edge, hp drain B, Start Dash A and unblockable attack A
in Descend I can almost 1 shot every 2nd/3rd person with Dark Geo Da Ray combo.
made it to 20 before losing there with him and didnt even touch my second char lol
I love SC4, me and isla been showing off our pretty made characters and Ive been unlocking more armor and she has been killing me with kilikfag
I always win the first round, then she comes back for mighty victories, she refuses to die (unless I kill her, which I still do)
yeah that did suck, it would have been epic fitez
you're not ready for DaPolice, Da5-0, and Homocop, the crime fighting trio from the future
Good God, Astaroth's a fucking beast
Just get in close and never let up (assuming you're playing a moderately fast character). His options against heavy pressure are incredibly limited (4B 6K 66K is really all he has).
I can usually know the outcome of a round while playing online within the first 3 seconds (incidentally I have won a match in 3 seconds, GG Ring outs). If my opponent is able to get past my opening move and get in close, I'm going to be in trouble.
Has anyone figured out if there's a point to skills like Soul Gauge Boost/Damage/Recovery outside of higher chance of getting to Critical Finish range? I know some moves like HP Burst use the Soul Gauge, but does it actually do anything else besides that and Critical Finish range?
The Soul gauge also affects the chance of having your armor break, and when you have a maxed out Soul gauge (flashing blue) you can do a Soul Charge.
Honestly no idea, it's never come up for me, and if it did, I probably wouldn't be in a situation to stop pressure and do a charge.
floor 10,38,49,59... I can't unlock their treasures D:
anyone got good tips?
10 = 10x block
38 = ring out all enemies. enemies have nullify ring out A
49 = invisible enemies. 100% accuracy
59 = 10x block
floor 49, I'm sure is just gonna take alot of patience.. but the other ones I'm just having too much trouble with it pisses me off.
on the block one's that's mostly just learning characters' movesets (the computers use a real basic and usually redundant moveset comprised of reactions to whether or not things hit and if you let your finger off of the guard button), a good trick i found is to let go of the guard button and immediately mash it back down, the computers have a tendancy to attack as soon as pressure is being let up on that button but you can usually get your finger back down on it before the attacks land
ring out enemies...eh, there's overthrow/flapjack from nightmare/sieg which works pretty well, i've heard raphael has a throw that does real well too...i personally used sophitia's 4b+k or 6b+k, they duck under high attacks and are surprisingly fast.
invisible...just grab them, don't have to 'hit' them, just can't make a whiff, throws/sweeping attacks like seong-mi~na worked real well for me, though i can't quite remember exactly what i did
It's getting real old losing out on a win during a Ranked match when people force d'c themselves after I get two wins up.
People still do ranked matches?
People still play SC4?
Haha, I was thinking the same thing. Don't get me wrong, I loved the game when it came out and I was addicted the first two weeks or so to unlock everything. But once everything was unlocked, I had no problem kicking it out of bed.
