I moved from hades to get away from botters and have fun playing this game with my friends. Everything was going well until you guys showed up. If you were legit I wouldn't care and we might have been friends. However, you are as bad if not worse than the botters on hades. That I was running from this makes me very bitter.

I don't understand why ANYONE from FuryLS is bitching about botters. It is a well known fact on Phoenix that you guys bot anything you claim. Who gives a fuck if anyone from MercuryX bots and claims anything...at least they can kill it. I've watched FuryLS wipe to so much shit in the last 2 years I can't even count anymore.

Personally, it's nice to see MercuryX roll up here and ruffle your feathers. It's nice to have a LS that can claim AND kill.

Its a lazy mans way of using a macro so you don't have to sit there mashing one yourself trying to claim. Using a bot doesn't by any mean guarantee claiming shit.

What LS were you running away from on Hades? If you were camping HNM's as you say, wtf LS were you in that supposedly didn't use app?

Funny thing is Furyls extra came for a free Nidhogg that we were fighting to MPK us. They failed of course but still funny.
Not to mention when they casted Diaga at our first day here on the darter that we gathered before the window to AGA them. We do that because they bother our bots at claiming. lol

There is a reason why SE put in claim delays on NM and they vary every time the package for the monster is loaded into the server. Therefor, unless you know the exact delay for claiming, your bot won't do anything except fire the macro off and get the delay you receive for trying to claim something too early. Being FFXIAPP is a client side program, it won't detect anything except that the package for monster # whatever has been loaded and targets said monster. Unless you are using a server side program or FFXIAPP with a package sniffer, its not going to help unless you get lucky with the delay you put into said program. TnB and others that run off of server info are the ones that adjust the claim delay according to the package loaded, but with this, GMs can see it being used and ban those with the program.

Well, you *can* also fish carp in DA. I don't think a claim bot helps with that.

Blah, people bot, you think it gives an advantage, I think it doesn't. Doesn't matter. I am willing to bet there isn't a HNM Linkshell on any server throughout this game that hasn't botted. Just because their members weren't on the app list that got released, doesn't mean they weren't using a hack version of it. So I guess that means that anybody who has gear doesn't deserve it because someone in their LS supposedly cheated. Bots are apart of FFXI as much as RMT. If you don't like it, then stop playing. Just because you bring up the fact that someone at one time used FFXIAPP, doesn't mean they still use it and if they do, doesn't mean they are going to stop. Either put up with it and move on or just quit seriously. Waiting for someone to say those that use PS2 couldn't bot, because I know plenty of JP's that did and the PS2 bot was way more effective then APP.

When all someone can say about another person or linkshell is they bot, why bother. You act like they are stealing money from you or something. This is a game after all and as it being a game, people will take every advantage they feel there is to play it.
