Monk double atk on ws :o ?

Hello, I wanted to know if it was possible for a monk that a double atk occur in one of our ws, I'm prettyu sure it can't happen in Asuran fist but some people told me that it was possible in Dragon Kick or Raging Fist. Please help me I'm lost XD

it can happen on any WS except Asuran Fists and stuff like Spirits Within, Moonlight, etc.

It's part of the reason a very lucky RF can outdamage Asuran by miles.

I was in a dunes party with these 2 hardcore HNM ls members, and the MNK dings 11 and starts saying "Only 61 more levels till I get a decent WS." I tell the guy that Combo and Raging Fists are pretty fucking awesome for the levels you get them at, and then his friend jumps in: "I'm a 75 MNK and I know for a fact all MNK WSs suck till Asuran Fists."


Either his gear was utter shit through the whole level range that you use RF, or he's just clueless...It was sad.

I guess my consistent 700+ RF at 66 isn't good enough then

8 H2H merits, 5 STR, 4 crit% merit.

Cross-Counters, 2x Spike Earring, Jaeger + Rajas, Life Belt, SH +1, Peacock Charm, Voyager Sallet, Ochiudo's Kote, Amemet +1, Federation Kyahan, Republic Subligar and Life Belt for RF. Using meat of course

the update which buffed howling fist made it decent too. double attack on that usually puts up nice numbers too. Just from what I've seen since I was already 75 MNK when the update happened.

I can attest to this, hit 58 the other day (4 h2h merits) and my average was a good ~100 higher than RF from an admittedly small pool of WS (maybe 30 each).

Howling fist is awesome on stuff where Asuran falls short (the high defense or high evasion crap).

I'm not on as much as I used to be, and I'm saving funds for consumables/limbus, but I'd like to try making a Howling fist set sometime. Mostly I'd need a log for shura head and a flame ring. Too bad mnk can't use my rutters. Go go rasetsu feet!

The "im high level <insert job> so i no evrythin" argument is always great for lulz. There are people with maat's cap and still dont know shit about their jobs or the game. Its sad.

RF sucks when you're trying to put on a bunch of Str for it and can only land 2 maybe 3 hits at a time.

I recall hitting Lesser Colibri for 500-600 when I paused as a 57 Mnk/War, 3 HtH merits, 2 Str, 3% Crit, all the best gear except Vsallet, WSed in Woodsman/Sniper over Rajas, otherwise the same as above.

Makes me sad seeing melees with no gear swaps complaining about something easily remedied by a couple /equip macros.

lol, a good friend shamed me quite nicely (after having black belt for months too haha) by informing me about the 8 hit cap and that i was a noob for wsing in brutal;;

Zomg I finaly understand now why my Howling fist were so much better, was because of brutal. I did a 60 bcnm the other days (the one in Horlais Peak with the orcs) and was very surprised by my average Howling Fist dmg (around 600dmg) but I was /war so that does explain everything.

Im a high level ranger so I know that all ranger weapon skills suck until slugwinder
