Corsair is a good brand, I personally have kingston in my desktop but you can't go wrong either way imo. Looks like that's the right kind as well so everything seems pretty good.
That's what I have in my Macbook, works fine. Price is pretty good too. I've seen it for a little less, provided rebates were sent in (which reminds me, still need to send mine in) as the chips sold seperately are like $50 with $15 mail ins. Was in December though, not sure if you can still get it that way, but you could check. That'd save you another $15.

I bought the GeIL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) for $133($103 after rebate, if you if you don't mind waiting) and they have loved them.
Also my laptop shows 3.0 GB of RAM on XP Pro so idk lol
