Do you even read before you post? He said people are happy with the decisions their parents made for them and I showed him that there's a large amount of people who aren't.
I'm not happy with the decision that my parents put me into a school where binges sex and drugs aren't the norm! FUCK MY PARENTS FOR DOING THAT TO ME grrrr. Who cares if people mostly want to go to schools which will further academic achievement, I SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO MAKE THAT DECISION.
All I can say is wow @ how much idiocy is in your post. Please either discuss this like everyone else in the thread or shut the fuck up and stop posting.
Discuss what? We have people saying that a medical procedure that could prevent health problems shouldn't happen because of some idea that it limits the kid more than other decisions that parents have to make on a daily basis. This whole argument is retarded and arguing it like it's something that fucking matters is retarded. If you want your kids to have that risk then by golly you should leave them uncut. Guys, we have to remove our foreskin to prevent a decease that only effects a small amount of people from infecting us. We should also amputed the small toe from our feet as something might happen to it sometime in the future that is unlikely but we should do it anyway since we don't really need it.

    There, i made a Maxx.

I could also have my arm amputated because someday I might break it eventually.

There is no proof that being uncut has any negative medical effects on people that wash and take care of their penis. Sure, BlackSymphony's son had an infection under his foreskin, and it was necessary for that child to have his foreskin removed. I could also find you stories of males who have gotten infections from the act of getting circumsized, or I could find you stories of circumsized men getting infections just as bad or worse than BlackSymphony's son. Just because you have heard all of your life that something is true doesn't make it a fact, it makes it a common misconception that you apparently have trouble letting go of.

Doesn't count, nobody's specifically disproven the toe argument on page 2 of this thread.

False. Wisdom teeth are usually yanked when they could prove a potential orthodontic problem. These types of problems are much worse than a potential build up of smegna or any of the other extremely low potential risks of remaining incircumsized. For example, often times when wisdom teeth come in they do so at either a partially or severe horizontal angle. This can lead to pushing all the teeth in your mouth forward and permanantly damaging your oral structure, requiring significant orthodontic work to correct. Not to mention it hurts like a bitch all the while and considering millions of people get braces every year it also wastes that investment because it ruins your straight teeth.

There are no similar instances, as far as severity or probability of occurence, to this with the issue of circumsicion. Its like saying your appendix could burst some day, may as well take it out before it does (not necessarily while an infant).

Edit: Shit people post fast. Kuya beat me.
All wisdom teeth are a potential problem, food can get stuck behind wisdom teeth and cause infections since it's difficult to floss back there. Thus even teeth that are predicted to grow in properly generally get removed.

There's still controversy around preventative wisdom tooth removal (which is a common practice), especially since it's recently been proven to be largely ineffective in many cases.

edit: also, docs used to remove the appendix during surgery for abdominal pain which (during exploratory surgery), was found NOT to be the cause of the pain. Since some evidence has come to show that having an appendix may have a benefit, they've stopped doing this. (from wiki)

I heard kuai's infamous avatar guy was circumcised, if I have a son I won't get it done cuz it might make him think cutting his cock is a good idea and he might end up like that.

I am the president of the Tufts predental society intending on going the Tufts dental for orthodontics. I have shadowed at the school and with orthodontists countless times. That being said, while what you are saying has some validity in that it can be difficult to floss back there, I can say that if your wisdom teeth come in straight or are projected to, most orthodontists/oral surgeons, if they are not trying to make a buck off of you, will not suggest the procedure. They also have floss instruments that make it so a monkey could floss any part of their mouth. Wisdom teeth removal is not like circumscion.

You're the one who is vehemently proclaiming that we're all obsessed with the foreskin when you're the one coming in here screaming how stupid we all are. You flat out ignore the fact that circumcision has not been proven to prevent anything yet still argue to the contrary. Who is the one giving a fuck about it again?

We're not saying the foreskin is a necessity of life, we're simply discussing whether or not we agree with the medical procedure.

Please, they've already stated there's fetal amnesia, so that's not a factor. You're not gonna be able to isolate your child from everything that's painful, and if anything I'm all for the thought process that if it doesnt kill you it makes you stronger. Infants cry like they're in "immense pain" regardless of the situation.

Uggh...if anything you guys are agreeing that neither circumcised or uncircumcised penises are more prone to infections/diseases, (or at least apparently havent been "proven" which I disagree with but for the moment let's agree on that) then basically all it comes down to is aesthetic reasons.

Does anyone here think an uncircumcised looks better than a circumcised? Maybe its my societal influence, but to be honest "circumcised penis acceptance" isn't THROWN on Americans, so I don't think we're biased. I'm glad mine was done, because honestly do guys really need more stimulation in that area? God knows as guys we normally have trouble with staying power as it is, lol. Anyway in the end assuming all things are the same, I think circumcised just appeals more to the eye really, and ontop of it have obvious if small hygenic positives.

You only quoted the first half of the sentence, whereas afterwards i said i dont care if some girl has a problem with it. it is only aestheically appealing in america where it has become the norm. the percentage of uncirumsized men in the world vastly outweighs that of the opposite and clearly in those cultures the ideas of beauty are different.

    Re: Opinions about circumsicion

I've got a question for all you uncircumcised people. Why the fuck do you care? Why are you attempting to change our minds about the way we are? It's like you're taking offense to the people that HAVE had the procedure done. Get over it, k? We can't reverse this process, most of us wouldn't even is we had the chance. That is not to say that if I wasn't circumcised, I wouldn't like it. Know why? Because my opinion is biased no matter what! :D

There's no way you can deny the fact that there MIGHT be a chance at disease. And for that reason, and that reason alone, that I am glad to be circumcised (plus, *I* think it looks better, but know why? I've been like this my entire life, I enjoy the way I am). You're probably going to refute with "why have it done when the chance of that happening is 1%?" like you have been this entire thread... Well, if you're going to be that ignorant about it, I really have nothing else to say. Well, except, stop caring about what my dick looks like.

Edit: Using the logic, "I should get my arm amputated in case I might break it later on in life" is by far, BY FAR faulty logic. First off, does your foreskin enable you to do anything in particular? No, really, just because you like the way it feels doesn't mean it helps you in any way. When your arm breaks, it heals. When you get an infection under your foreskin, the only way to get rid of it is removing the skin. You're probably going to say something like "well, your arm might get cancer, so we might as well take that chance." There's a very large difference in what foreskin and your arm can do for you.

Note: If it was part of the norm, getting my pinky toe removed probably wouldn't bother me at all. Although, I don't really know of any diseases that form specifically on the pinky toe... Fucking toe, it's so useless :D
