brb buying a modded Wii.
Balls, I just looked at their policies and found this: link
Guess I was right about that previous error and Wal-Mart canceling all the orders. Well, unless they have a deal to sell SSBB at a super deep discount. Ebgames has it listed as 50$ atm, so...Pricing Information
While Walmart.com strives to provide accurate product and pricing information, pricing or typographical errors may occur. Walmart.com cannot confirm the price of an item until after you order. In the event that an item is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to an error in pricing or product information, Walmart.com shall have the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any orders placed for that item. In the event that an item is mispriced, Walmart.com may, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
We strive to provide you with the lowest prices possible on Walmart.com as well as in our stores. However, sometimes a price online does not match the price in a store. In our effort to be the lowest price provider in your particular geographic region, store pricing will sometimes differ from online prices. Our stores do not honor Internet pricing or competitor advertisements from outside of a store's local trade territory.
You guys know that they will either charge you the rest of the money when the game is out, or they'll just cancel your order right?
There' no way you're getting a 20 dollar SSBB lol.
I'm going to point and laugh at you specifically when I get this game for $20. It's ok though, you can do the same to me.Originally Posted by Exoduso
That's okay, cus you know... you won't. Unless there's some stupid loophole in their policy that says otherwise, but I doubt it.Originally Posted by Demosthenes

They can cancel it, they cannot just charge you the full amount. If they cancel it big deal I'll go buy a copy for regular price. Worth a try to get it for $20.You guys know that they will either charge you the rest of the money when the game is out, or they'll just cancel your order right?
They won't without asking you, but they might send you an email or whatever, who knows how they work. Walmart is a crappy website.Originally Posted by Quixon
I dislike ordering online from Wal-mart, because my one and only experience ordering it from there, I didn't get Metroid Prime 3 until at least a week later, while all the stores amazingly had it up on the very first day with plenty in stock.![]()
Shit I've never bought anything for less than half the price on launch day.... EVER. I totally did not get FFXII from Fry's for $30 pre-order, or any other games for that matter. Companies do do price reductions... ever! If they do, it must be a fucking mistake. Go home guys, good game, don't pre-order shit. Oh and yes, they will never ever honor shit if it was a mistake. Ever!
They just changed it. link doesnt work anymore
Why WOULD they keep it? you think they buy the game for less than that?
Video Games have paper thin margins for reseller profits.

Not necessarily the case here, but happens a lot if you're observant.
Unless something happened from when I was working at Target back in 03, the average amount of money that they made per new game sell was about $7-$10 per game. That was at $50 per game. I mean you do the math it's not but so paper thin...Originally Posted by SephirothYuyX
Not really. Age plays a huge factor.Originally Posted by BRP

I'd rather them cancel the order than ship it anyway and charge me $50.
