Still possible that it was intentional imo. What better way to increase traffic than a rumour circulating about a low price? It'll get potential customers to the page, many of whom will turn round and buy at full price anyway once they're there.

I used wal-mart dial-up a looooong time ago.


When I canceled it, they charged me again anyway, and caused an overdraw which of course cost me a bunch of fees.


So I called again and made absolute sure it was canceled.


They kept charging me. For like 6+ months, I had to block all charges from Wal-Mart to my account to make it stop.


Probably some freak accidental shit but anyway, a word to the wise for people that are considering dealing with wal-mart online.

As an economist I've been struggling to find a reason for why video game prices are still over $20... As of yet, I have no answers. And yes, I'm very serious. I was thinking about doing my dissertation on this subject if I ever went for my PhD in Econ.

With HDA (High Def Advantage) you get $600 off price of of a HDTV ( Here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp ... e=category )
when you buy other stuff with it, return everything and get the TV for cheap. It is a bit of a hassle but I live for getting these kind of deals (don't care about the hassle for that much $ off)
