    - Bishop thing was a long time coming.
    - Layla Miller better be back intact on X-Factor or i'll be really pissed.
-How don't you like Wolfsbane and Warpath? Wolverine is fail, and X-23 is cloned fail which is even greater fail.
-Sadly Cable & Deadpool is much better than either one of them solo. They are making a horrific mistake.
-I think you guessed correctly. Honestly, I see no reason for the character.
-I feel bad for Bishop. After Gambit, he is probably the worst treated character in the X-Books.
    -She fucking better be.

Endangered Species was a ball of disappointment. It would have been better if the events lead into Messiah Complex, but the whole thing had absolutely no point and no impact in the series. It is like the whole thing never happened.

Well, the Dark Beast did kill another one of the seven hundred million Guthrie children. Hey Mrs. Guthrie! VAGINA. IT'S NOT A CLOWN CAR.

i don't really like the mauling type of characters in general. Wolfsbane has that religious thing which is at times tolerable but in general very annoying to me. i don't really know Warpath.

Endangered Species will probably only be relevant if Beast dies at the ends of MC.

Wolfsbane isn't really that much of a mauling character, her fear of her power defines her. Unlike Wolverine or X-23 she generally only uses her lupine form to intimidate unless it is a brawl against other mutants. Peter David has been bringing her out of her shell a bit lately, with her sleeping with Richtor, I can't wait until Shatterstar finds out... Plus her dreams in the first X-Factor series were hilarious.

Warpath has been somewhat bland since he has been in X-Men, but I blame that on the shitty, shitty writer.

I do agree. Cable & Deadpool was great because the characters play off of each other so well. Cable reminds Deadpool that he can be a better person, Deadpool reminds Cable to pull the stick out of his ass every so often. But that doesn't mean that Deadpool can't be successful on his own, the Joe Kelly run on his first series was fan-fucking-tastic, Christopher Priest's run was great as well. Then there were a bunch of shitty writers who weren't funny and thusly the series sucked. Deadpool needs a strong comic writer to work correctly, this new guy doesn't sound like he is up for the task. (Hell, I think only Fabian Nicieza, Joe Kelly, Christopher Priest, Peter David, or Keith Giffen could actually write the character well.)

That would piss me right the fuck off. Marvel has already killed Phoenix and ruined Gambit, I would have to infer that they were systematically destroying every character that I like if they killed off Beast.

Is Gambit still running around with Apocalypse? Nevermind, posted before reading all of the posts above. So now he's with the Marauders? That's fucking gay. Give the man his shit back, marry Rogue, have little mutant kids, the fucking end.

The real question is where is Cannonball? That guy was awesome.

The recent Wolverine Origins issue with Deadpool in it was pretty fantastic. Deadpool drops a piano on him. And not in a slapstick way, he actually planned it out.

He's still part of the team (he was with the group that had three defectors from the Marauders), he got seriously wounded during the fight for Destiny's Diaries. I think he's still immortal though, I recall a recent reference to the old Externals story arc from the original X-Force series (a group of immortal mutants, most of whom proved not-so-immortal when introduced to a combination of the Legacy Virus and Selene).

eh that fight didnt really do much for me, but i think thats because nothing can come close to when deadpool fought sabretooth back in C&D 41. only lasted a few pages but it was just so well done. i still laugh whenever i read the puddinize dialogue.

most people including Gambit can't have kids with Rogue.

    SPOILERS

he's not really with the Marauders, he's there with Mystique to save Rogue.

Marvel failing to deliver in the final issue of a big crossover?!

Seriously though, it should be interesting to see how this plays out, especially taking into account Prof X's body disappearing in the final shot of that zoom out sequence. We do know one thing though, Prof X isn't a skrull!

Anyone have a link to the newest one? For some reason Rapidsearch isn't letting me search for x-men for some reason, all I get is errors and porn. I've been searching with the same "x-men" for months and it worked until the last couple weeks.

    Re: X-Men: Messiah Complex

I might care more about the ending if this exact thing hadn't happened approximately a dozen times before. What was with the Jean reference following "her. It's a her," btw? Not that we didn't all see it coming from a mile away. And the two things I wanted to see resolved, the Layla situation and the whole Predator-X/Mercury thread, were just left hanging. Oh gee, Wolverine jumped into its throat and cut it open from the inside. What a DRAMATIC ending to the threat of the monster that chased after mutants for almost a year after stealing Mercury's SKIN. Ugh. It better come back. I really hope they don't fuck up Young X-Men, New X-Men was one of the few books I really looked forward to every month (the other being X-Factor of course). I can see it going the way of Exiles so easily.

    SPOILERS

i'm really not that impressed with the Young X-Men team, while i have nothing against Rockslide, Dust or Blindfold, they are leaving out the members of New X-Men that i find most interesting (Surge, Prodigy, Elixir, Armor). i hope that's happening because at least a few of them are getting "promoted".

    Re: X-Men: Messiah Complex

It kind of looks like Whedon's been trying to get Armor into the Wolverine's Sidekick X-Men slot that Kitty and Jubes used to be in, at the very least, she'll come back from Breakworld a "real" X-person. I can't imagine them promoting Elixer, he's barely been in his own book, and while there's still more story waiting for him, he just hasn't had any limelight recently (except for maybe scoring with that girl). I don't know, I have trouble thinking of anyone else writing these characters. They just can't be as good.
