PS2 Trouble when engaging a mob.

I'm posting this for a friend that plays on PS2. He doesn't get this anywhere else. He can be right next to the mob and be fine, but the moment he clicks Engage he has to wait a good 15-20 seconds for it to catch up. It's even froze a few times. I'm fine on PC, must be a PS2 issue.

just under normal circumstances? ie: he's gonna beat up a lesser colibri, he walks up to it hits engage and it takes 15-30s? or he's being cast on and it takes 15-30s to engage? if its the latter, thats normal for all systems>.>

Yes under normal circumstances. Not while being casted on or anything and he doesn't R0 during it.

Might be something with his connection or the PS2 itself, I play on the PS2 as well and I dont have that issue.
