Those songs are intense. I have all of his songs downloaded, but I have yet to test them all.
Note: If the .rar (or .zip) you download has JP characters in the name, you must rename the .rar in English characters before it will extract, otherwise it will not work.

Eh? I downloaded the song you linked to. I don't particularly enjoy listening to DragonForce, but figured I'd give it a go since everyone eventually plays it on GH or this game, apparently, hehe.

Yeah, S.S.H. is one hell of a collection. Try the Venus Fire and Wanders in Wilderness songs on AudioSurf, they are pretty challenging.

Even a 10 second song will show 3 medals, even though not all 3 are obtainable. Just like you can't get a 21-block combo on every song.

This is annoying At first I was getting fine FPS, and now I can barely get decent FPS even on "normal" graphics mode in a tiny window/fullscreen.


edit : Game hates AA / AF / Mipmap from ATI cards, toned them down and it's a treat.

edit 2 : nvm, the song after the first was laggy again. Meh I'll wait till it's properly released.

edit 3: Sigh my computer is a giant toilet seat, now Audiosurf loads, but starts minimized, and refuses to go to fullscreen despite nothing blocking it except that potential virus thing that I posted on the tech support board.

Only 10 dollars? wow. I'll most likely get it then, it's pretty relaxing to play.

Hopefully the bugs I mentioned are out , (main gripe was I could only play 1 song before my machine became too unstable to play any further, unless I restart my machine, and I have a monster of a machine too).

Audiosurf is now released for $9.95 through Steam. I dunno what kind of bugs you were talking about, but my computer would restart if I played in fullscreen for too long. I just play in windowed mode and stretch the screen out now.

Awesome, they made it way harder to gain medals now; the points change depending on the song. They also added achievements you can unlock, such as gaining a certain number of points in a certain duration. Also, Mono Pro (medium) was added; instead of clearing stones by right-clicking, you can now jump over them. Additionally, there is now a gamemode called Ironhide or something like that which, when enabled, can make the game even more difficult. All-in-all, it seems even more badass than it was, especially now that you can create your own account and actually see other people's scores.

My friend at work has been going crazy over this, I'm downloading now, but on my awesome dsl ~> wireless, I'll be able to play in like 20 hours.

Game has some slight bugs, but I also found out where my problems were coming from. There is a memory leak if you use XBCD drivers and have an XB controller plugged into the system (not necessarily playing on one). Unplugging the controller before starting audiosurf fixes this, hopefully they will patch it not to leak so I don't have to unplug each time.

There's also a "Dissapearing cursor" bug, fixed by alt+tab out > in.
