When the show began, I thought it was odd that no one we've met has ever seen adult John Connor. At first I thought it was because they didn't want to cast anyone with the new movie coming out, but after Cameron's dialogue in the future scene last night, I'm starting to wonder if maybe Jesse is right and in the future John is dead or incapacitated and the metal (specifically Cameron) is running the show.

The machines in the sub storyline seemed out of character. If they didn't intend to work with Connor, why send an "ambassador" to tell him? Why not just give the message to the guy who went on the rig or, even better from their perspective, kill him, replace him with the T-2000, slaughter the sub crew and rob Connor of a major tactical asset as well as personnel? I wonder if maybe the machines aren't some monolithic group completely loyal to Skynet. Maybe there are machines who want to stop the war with humanity.

I believe there were hints during season 1 that the future John Connor is a machine / computer.

Unless they r going out of the Terminator Lore (or w/e you want to call it), Connor is alive just in hiding and has always had machines run things for him. From what i took out of the episode... seems like Jessie was a fuck up in the future and past (now). Granted it was an idiotic move for none to know about Connor's intentions w/the box, but one is to assume if things went according to plan and the box was never opened... that the T x3-800 (w/e it's called) would have joined Connor's cause. It was obviously heavily guarded and the liquid metal was evil, but it only said "no" because of all the human fuck ups on the sub.

When the show started I rly like Sarah, and still love her character, but I am started to get annoyed w/how the character is being written lately while like John more and more. John is starting to grow up and Sarah is becoming more and more distrustful of everything... I can understand why she wouldn't Cameron (just on principle), but Derrik has done nothing wrong and next episode of her acting like she doesnt trust either of em is kinda going a bit too far imo.. Makes me think they r gonna end this season w/ another Cameron cliff hanger when I'd like to see something diff from first season... Want to see an epic season finale that has to do w/skynet or Cromartie (hell yeah!)

edit: anybody else get the impression that Weaver's child gets killed next episode? Juts have this underlying feeling that Cromartie becomes awesome for a moment again

This is what I was thinking/hoping. I miss seeing Cromartie being a badass, and his creepy smile he did lol.

This is so true.

However, why would sky net even consider Connor proposal unless sky net was losing the war or sky net has something in store for john.

In addition, I am really enjoying how john Connor has been turning out for the past couple of episodes.

There is something I also wanted to add and some of you might disagree with this. But I feel that john should be aware of David (Uncle) there is some issues that he has with john Connor in the future and I feel that David has not let go of john’s decision on sending his brother Kyle Reese to the past to protect Sarah.

In all honesty, I just do not trust him. Please keep in mind that this is only an opinion.

I cannot remember if they ever stated what model Cromartie was. I always thought he was kind of a 'special' model, though obviously not as good as Cameron. While he did do the normal terminator stuff (killing the docs that helped with his face and skin, etc), he seemed to be able to interact with humans well. There is also the fact he went against SkyNet when he saved Ellison from the terminator that came to replace him and he said he 'had faith' in him. The fact that he has 'faith' in Ellison plus the fact he was able to go against what is apparently SkyNet's orders put him in a different light to me. Then he went and died when they smashed his chip. Maybe it will turn out there was a back-up chip elsewhere on him and he's been playing everybody for foooooooooooools. <.<

Derek. It probably also doesn't help he has Jesse trying to undermine John at points throughout the season.

I didn't see it as a proposal to all of skynet. I don't think he would phrase it as "will you join us?" since he would be asking for peace, not necessarily cooperation. I already stated what I think is going on a few posts up.

How could anyone possibly consider cancelling a show like this after seeing these last few episodes? Oh wait... It's Fox. Firefly was already too much, Fox. I gave you John Doe, I gave you Dark Angel. You may have come to your senses in the end, but Family Guy still stung. Don't you dare take away my T:TSCC!
