Holy shit... I just watched the last 2 episodes (since I didn't watch last weeks yet) and dear god it's been amazing. wtf w/ Derrek getting killed off as if he was a nameless actor, wtf w/ Weaver being good (or is she?), wth happened to Cameron, wth.... show is amazing... if they don't give the series more seasons there will be a riot i tell you. show is beyond amazing and some of the best TV available right now. Sometimes you gotta forget about ratings and just let awesome be awesome.

I mean the last few minutes made absolutely no sense and we wont get any explanation w/ another season or how it can possible be resolved... now w/ Sarah/Ellison & John/Weaver in diff time periods... especially one where none know of John ><

basically I think Weaver took John to the future before he was rescued from Skynet. Connor didn't start out a legacy, it was that computer guy (who created Turk) who rescued a grp of prisoners and John was in that grp (least according to the show). But it sure as hell seemed as if Reece (sp) knew who John was.

Dunno, if they took down the sets it wouldn't surprise me since S3 could take an ENTIRELY new direction and take place in the future... hell they could rename it "Terminator: John Connor Chronicles" now since Sarah and Ellison can be written out. Only other explanation I see would be them doing parallel stories. But still, wtf w/ Weaver and what was the point to take him there... unless they are there to just get Cromartie back and Cameron Chips, at w/point Weaver will take them back

Oh yeah... Just realized... Since john jumped to the future then he prolly doesn't exist in "that" future, thus why nobody knew him. Still think Kyle reese knew, just cause. Season 3 plz... Can't leave it like this!

I thought it was weird, too, but there are some reasons why I actually liked the way they chose to do it.

1) It's realistic, showing that even though Derek is a main character, he is still human, and when pit against a Terminator, he can easily be headshotted and become just another corpse in a split second.

2) Removes the cliched, dramatic deaths that we sometimes see too much.

3) In the next arc (assuming that the show isn't cancelled), there is another version of Derek, so while it's not exactly the same person, we're not really saying goodbye to Derek, either, so there's not an actual need for an elaborate death if he's still going to be in the show.

Side note: If we see a third season, I really hope Jesse is in this arc. She's hawt. =w=

^I'm sorry but when you have time traveling, alternate dimensions, and freaking terminators waltzing around; it completely throws "realism" out of the window.

I'd love to see a fucking Mexican stand off, big explosions, bulletime and shit, oh and ode to joy playing in the bg (the last part) as Derek heroically saves the little girl.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed so it won't get canceled ;x
