As far as how they have the money to continually relocate, keep in mind they aren't actually staying in 4 class hotels, and it stands to reason that she gets her money illegally (knocking off banks, etc). Although, they did show her working as a waitress in the town they moved to in the first episode, so maybe she does some honest jobs as well.

As far as the weapons and ammunition goes, I believe in T2 she had a huge storage area underground in the desert.

I didn't see 3, but there's nothing at the end of 2 that implies Skynet survives either the explosion of the lab with Black Guy Who Dies in it, or the melting of both Terminators in the foundry fight.

And from the looks of the TV show they're going to have to come up with their own explanation as to how Skynet survives. My bet's on 'we were wrong someone else built Skynet lawl.'

The way I always though of it, though it doesn't quite fit with the timeline presented in the movie, is that the ending just prevented them from researching & developing Skynet prematurely by studying the pieces of the old terminator. Somebody still had to invent it in the first place, and that is what I figured happened in the 3rd movie.

Tonight's follow up was a lot better than the premier, which I thought was pretty good. I think the show has some legs, hopefully the ratings do as well. I thought they introduced a few interesting things tonight. For anyone that missed it, you can watch the full episodes at fox.com.

They won't be cancelling anything, they have nothing to replace it with - strike and all. I'm 100% sure they'll play all the episodes they've shot so far.

Somebody still had to invent it in the first place, and that is what I figured happened in the 3rd movie.

If I recall correctly, Judgment Day still happened after the events of t2, it just happened later (moved from 1997 to 2005 or whatever). I seem to recall some discussion about it's a natural evolution of artificial intelligence, so it's bound to happen eventually. That might have occurred in the Dark Horse comic book serieses of the 1990's, now that I think about it.

Regardless, the last scenes of T3 actually occurred on Judgment Day, setting up the new movie(s) occuring "after."
