Been wanting to pick one of these up but really looking for a bit more memory for the price.

As to the OP, you won't hear any definite news of upcoming products from Apple. They are notoriously secretive. This is one of the first things you learn once you start drinking the Koolaid.

Now that Macworld has passed, you can be sure of no major upgrade to the iPhone for at least six months. Back-to-school season is the next time we can expect major product announcements, traditionally.

i hate my ipod touch for that channelsurfing.net is useless when i actually find a hotspot to use at work ;(

In that they have 0 java/flash support? /sigh =( One thing I hate about my iPhone of many. Don't get me wrong, I'd never replace it, (great conversation starter) but really...some obviously mandatory things it just doesnt have.

I heard Java/Flash support sometime before summer '08.

The next big patch for the iPhone/Touch is going to be in February, as that will be when they'll be opening the code for 3rd Party software. So, I anticipate we'll get Flash & Java support then.

What people who are trying to dodge the Apple bandwagon are doing, is forgetting that Apple has a long history of building computers, and offering competitive support for them. Your iPhone or iPod or Touch aren't any different, really. Where most manufacturers will let their hardware go the way of the dodo, as, in 6 months they make something better, with a whole new fad, Apple will continue to offer support for their products until they die.

Unfortunately, that's usually within 6 months. (j/k)

Uhh I highly doubt that, as even NES emulation on the iPhone is choppy at best. I seriously hope you're right though.

Speaking of the Pantech Duo, how is it. I was debating on getting either a Duo or a Blackjack II.

get the 0.1 psx4all from installer and you're set to go for fft on your iphone or ipot. It's playable at almost full speed imo. Need to set the proper settings to play it properly.

When you jailbreak your iphone there's an "Installer" on your home screen. It's like those download repositories in linux.

Hmmm mine is jailbreaked, and I can use iBrickr to download applications, but not sure how else, what do you mean by home screen?

Edit: Hmm nvm, I think I installed it using the iBrickr interface.
