Weird things you do with food

I salt a lot of things beyond recognition.

I cook a lot, and when I only cook for myself, I always use an obscene amount of garlic (I mean obscene... I made my ex-boyfriend almost vomit once, when I got near him with my garlic breath).




The most obscene thing I probably do with my food, though, is put ketchup on pasta.

I don't think that's weird at all (very, very common back home), I do it for all kinds of pasta - but every American I've ever met have gone bug-eyed and looked at me like, "OMFGSODISGUSTING!" It makes my current boyfriend sick to watch/smell, so I don't eat pasta around him. I think I traumatized him when I put ketchup on mac & cheese. As similar as my home country is to America when it comes to lifestyle, economy, progress, whatever, there are some obvious glaring differences, haha!

I dip like nearly everything in mashed potatoes if I have them.

At Burger King I like to dip my Double Stacker in their Onion Ring sauce.

I eat my pizza with ketchup/mustard/mayo.

Sometimes I like to dip my french fires in honey.

I also like to mix OJ and Milk, although it tastes much better if it's OJ w/ powdered milk.

Seriously, though, it's just a hot sauce. Somewhat thick. I'd say something like fairly spicy ketchup, or something. It's actually quite unique. If I had some, I'd probably find more uses for it, since I haven't had any since I gave up meat.

The only weird thing I ever did was eating funyuns with cheese sticks. Nothing too bad.

My brother generally had weirder things, like going to McDonalds and ordering, "A burger, no meat". Also, he still dips his PB&J in Water, then eats it. Don't see what's great about soggy bread

Skipped the whole damned rest of this thread to say you're the man. Buffalo NY represent. Go eat some Pudgies for me please, haven't had pizza / wings that good in about 10 years now. I used to live there... the six feet of snow you'd get over night was worthwhile

I put Cooler Ranch Doritos in my ham sandwich. That shit is pretty good.

I also used to put pretzels on a piece of bread and eat a pretzel sandwich.

The only odd thing I do, odd around here at least, is pretzels dipped in slightly warmed cream cheese. Love that.

Some people have mentioned some of the things I do:

Sriracha in almost everything.
Frosty and fries! Soooooo fucking good and its hilarious when you find out some of your friends do it too.
Any combination of bread, condensed milk, and ice cream

This next combo is so unhealthy but whatever: waffles or bread + butter + sugar. Like literally, cover the top of the waffle with butter, then cover the top of the butter with sugar and eat.

when I drink bottled water I always turn the bottle upside down to get rid of the condensation at the top, even if the top is off the bottle I put the top back on turn the bottle upside down then drink out of it have no idea why. I also eat my food in sections. I almost always eat out of a bowl and I avoid plates.

Oh yeah, there's this chain called Souplantation around here (dunno where else it's located if at all) that's basically a buffet place. They have pizza cut into squares, and whenever I go I make it a point to get some and dip it in honey. >_>

if I'm eating pasta with garlic bread I'll put a bunch of the pasta on top and eat it kinda like a pasta sandwich :ashira:

So I went to BK after work tonight and remembered this thread. Dipped my fries in my milkshake and to my insane surprise... it tasted like a fry dipped in a milkshake. No different from eating them seperate. No added benefits to doing it whatsoever. Maybe I did it wrong.

What is this stuff? I see it all of the time in the asian section of my grocery store. It is Chinese chili sauce? What does it taste like?

It's some cheap sauce or w/e, I thought it was really nasty and very garlicky.

Let's see, nah I don't do anything out of the ordinary. Cept I drink my milk (only if I can finish all of it), soda, etc. straight from the bottle. I live by myself, so w/e. Doesn't affect my gf because, well, like I said I finish all of it, she finds it a bit... peculiar

I'm pretty sure it has to be a frosty was wendy's. You need the right flavor and right consistency. Supposedly the saltiness of the fry combined with the sugar of the ice cream is a good combination, sort of like chocolate covered pretzels.
