Can a non SA/TA Dancing Edge Crit?
Keep seeing 700+ on Spiders outside Whitegate with 8tp Return /nin.
Regular 12 tp returns do 600-800.
Happened 3 times now in the space of 2 hours.
How does FFXIAH update the job you're currently on? Seems random but idk

If a weaponskill does not have a "chance of critical varies with TP" or something similar in the description, then it cannot crit unless you force it with SA, TA 60+, or Mighty Strikes.
You're likely just seeing the effects of pdif: since it outputs a value within a given range, sometimes you'll be "lucky" and it'll output all high values, sometimes all lows, etc. The more hits you have in a WS, the less consistent the average damage becomes. If 12TP return is your average (presumably /nin), assuming no TA procs, you get 4TP per hit. 8TP could be just the main hit and the offhand, or it could be 4TP + 1TP + 1TP + 1TP + 1TP where only the offhand hit misses, in which case you could get "lucky" with the pdif function.
That's how I think of it anyway ;x
Sorry really stupid question, does skulker's cape also effect Monomi and Tonko if you were on BLM/NIN or is it strictly limited to "Invisible" and "Sneak" and not just the effects?
Neck piece for Raging Rush:
Chivalrous Chain or Snow Gorget?
Monomi and Tonko both should last a static amount of time, every time. (Ex: Tonko: Ni always lasts 5 minutes. Tonko:Ichi always lasts 4.) Last I heard--gogo, rumor mill--Skulker's cape reduced the resist rate on sneak/invis, generally allowing it to last longer. Since the NIN spells last the same amount of time every time they're casted, there is no "resist" on them to speak of.Sorry really stupid question, does skulker's cape also effect Monomi and Tonko if you were on BLM/NIN or is it strictly limited to "Invisible" and "Sneak" and not just the effects?
That, though, begs the question: Does Skulker's Cape affect Silent Oils/Prism Powders? That I don't know...
Snow Gorget is a PCC that adds ~25/256 (or 0.1...) fTP to your first hit. Yes, prz.Neck piece for Raging Rush:

I'm seeing this on the wiki, but..
Is Shellra5 lv2 and lv3 identical? Because that really doesn't make much sense.

Is it me or do all the different face types have their own scream for death?
Nope, I believe each one adds 2/256 more so it'd be 24.2%, 25%, and 25.8% reduction respectivelyOriginally Posted by Dammerung
Is it just untested then, since there is no value for lv3?
It's tested, just when BG wiki was starting there was concern about people simply copying over data from the other wiki. Because of that, I only copied over any additions or adjustments that had been made by me or by Nivlakian. Since Shell V 3/3 had been tested by someone else I left it off, even though it is the correct value (-66/256).
Is there a better UI mod and map pack than brandson atm? (Preferably one that has the newer zones).
I thought it was just race specific. Hume M has the best. Makes me laugh any time I hear it.Is it me or do all the different face types have their own scream for death?
Not all, but many do.Originally Posted by Cream Soda
They also have different sounds in battle... the Elvaan F with pigtails is fucking annoying.
I've been told my particular hume model has the funniest death scream

Sorry if this is a noob question and has been discussed before. I tried to search but didn't get anything relative to my question.
When is MAB calculated? I could be wrong here but I seem to recall that INT/MAB are calculated at the end of spell cast. Whereas fast cast and stuff like that are done at initial casting. Is elemental/enfeeble triggered at the beginning of cast? Just finishing up BLM and don't have alot of gear to swap from yet, and was wondering if on HNM, would it be more beneficial to start casting in all elemental gear and then swap to INT/MAB gear?
