So...what kind of gear sets do people use to trigger HP down on BRD? I do not currently have any Zenith; I have the legs abjuration rotting in my safe, and could get the head relatively soon, but nothing else. I have never been able to find an answer as to whether +HP or "Converts MP to HP" gear "count" as far as the latent activation is concerned. I would not like to spend a bunch of non-refundable gil on trying this out if possible. Also, I do not have access to Windower macros.

Honestly the typical thing I've seen for BRDs is that Minstrel's Ring is really most handy when pulling, so, get hit a couple times.
Short of having a good bit of Zenith gear, or like you mentioned, a good bit of +HP gear, I don't know how possible it'd be to do this on demand with BRD given that we have a decent bit of HP compared to BLMs or whatever.

It's not on the wiki; I don't know of any other way of finding the sub lvl without testing it.

Edit: My question, which I realize might open up a bag of worms: why do we now have two incomplete ffxiwikis instead of just one strong one? Seems ridiculous to me.

FFXIclopedia sold out to the wikia group after accepting many donations for their servers(which are free after joining wikia) and BGWiki was made in protest(and hopefully will overtake FFXIclopedia, since it lacks retards like Charitwo). If you haven't leveled your clothcraft sub yet Inflames, I'd suggest just trying the synth each level until you are allowed to make it. You cannot synth if you are more than 15(not positive, someone feel free to correct me) levels away from cap, so when you are finally allowed to attempt it you'll have the exact cap. Otherwise, the only way you'll get the info is if someone else does the same as none of the community sites currently have it.

In summary, because they took money in as "donations for their servers" while they were already in talks with Wikia to come onto their network and get their servers for free, and when they came onto Wikia, pocketed most of the donations.

and many, many thousands in stock options. don't forget the options they made off of it. i think many players were offended that they'd spent both time and money to enhance the site thinking they were giving back to the community, only to find their effort sold off to the highest bidder and their donations vanish. while it may be legally within their right to sell their site to wikia, it's also within the customer's right to be dissatisfied with the handling of the business and move elsewhere, and that's what many did.

It's not easy without Zenith, for sure. I think I've resigned myself to having to getting at least 1-2 pieces, because without it, I'd have to carry around entirely too much crap, and I just don't have the room. Well, not if I still want to be able to keep gear for a few other jobs and enough inventory space to fish profitably.

Any idea how to get your choco to learn stuff? I'm at a bit deficient but I can't learn canter or gallop. :/ Is it because it is sick today?

Here's what you do to test if it procs. Equip all your -HP gear then equip your normal bard gear like the last poster said, then unequip any "Converts HP to MP" gear you have on. If after doing so you are in yellow, it will proc with said "converts" gear equipped. The reason is that "Converts HP to MP" gear doesn't actually lower the HP that you need 75% of; +/- HP gear does. Merits also do.

This is part of the reason I really don't care for morrigan's cuffs--in many situations I'd rather stay at 79% hp while nuking (with zmitts, not yellow hp) and still proc sorc ring.

I don't use z.mitts in final nuking set(use morri cuffs) and still proc my sorc ring. If you do it right you can still achieve your goal and not hit yellow. Only times I go yellow are on ice/lightning day when I use Obis or /whm. P.Rope during nukes is what keeps me white.

I don't know, just from what I noticed learning abilities is a lot like learning BLU spells, in that you *can* learn them 31 skill below the cap for the level you can use or whatever it is, but unless you want to spend 20 hours getting it you're better off waiting until you are much higher level. Same goes for the relationship between your bird's Discernment level and the earliest level you can learn an ability. What I was going to say that I thought you wouldn't like is what I said before about raising one or two mental birds and breeding the abilities into a new chocobo lol

A few ppl buy directly from me now. Been kinda lazy this week though so only have an East in baz atm, which hasn't sold in a couple days~ Typically takes me 1-3 days to unload from a sky trip before I go back for more.

Yeah lol, I posted mine on FFXIAH bazaar, saw your name on the list too. I'm having horrible luck unloading this week, surprising since not many people actually sell East/North on Ramuh, I only know of 2-3 others who go up to solo them for cash, and there's a plethora of upstart/part time endgame LS' who would rather not farm their own trigs lately.

haha, I don't see too many people selling Gems here but since I started, more people are "trying" to solo Sky pops. I sell lower then most people, actually had a few people buy my Gems and try to sell for 2-3x more then me, guess they don't realize I just go out the next day and get another Gem to sell at my lower price, rofl. They still have the Gems in their bazaar, after like a month.

As a COR/RNG with 0/0 MP, will the latent on Uggalepih Pendant (MP <51% - Mag ATK bonus), still go off on a Quick draw? Or does the game think 0/0 MP is 100%, where as 0/1 MP etc. is equal to 0%?
