What's a good x and y position for recast plugin? Right now mine is at the default position, and it's really annoying.

i moved mine down a bit so its under the inventory screen, and not over top of it.
if i could make it so it scrolls up instead of down when more stuff is waiting on timer, i'd put it right above the compass. but alas, it doesnt do that.

Ive been trying to land that one, but unless I get a lucky double attack meditate is too slow to finish.

You're going to want to experiment on this by yourself, due to the differences in size settings. It's not too difficult to figure out the x,y you want.

the short answer is 'no'.

even with med bonus gear it doesn't make the tp come any faster, you'll still need 3 seconds (well. more like 2.8seconds) per tick of meditate and you have to close the ws within about 6.

the only way to pull that off is to get a hit in after the gekko; be timed such that you get 3 shots out of your meditate in the time it takes to close and be basically lag free.

(basically, how you do a self-SC with just meditate before we all got sekkanoki).

if you can two step consistently without sekka you can do a three step with sekka, just precharge to 180tp instead of 80~.


personally I find it easier to go sam/rng and barrage or get a buddy to do the second ws and just do the first and third (using either sekka or meditate, alternating to do it twice as often). usually as a last resort when I need to make an L3 sc and don't have a way to do it directly in two steps.

DS caps at 1k HP drained, you just need a higher HP than what a mob would hit you for. Ie: if the mob hits you for 500 and you only had 493 HP, then you are dead.

Can anyone point me to a decent place to camp them? I find myself just pulling the single ones (never drops) you find at the corridors to the big aern rooms then messing with aerns till repop.

Also, they do have MP right? I swear I have aspired them on blm before. I've tried aspiring them 3 times tonight on rdm (1 with ES) and drained nothing. I don't have an awesome dark magic set but torque, pluto's and Anrin on darksdays should give me a return greater than 0

I usually go into the garden, up to the second floor and hit the corner rooms that have 2 or 3 in them, pull them back out of the room avoiding the ghrah and fight over the ramp bit.

barrage using acid bolt, will the mob get def down effect?

Dunno but pretty easy to test, Barrage with a bloody bolt and see if you get HP back.

added effects on ammo do not proc when barrage is used from what I remember when I worked on RNG 3 years ago. Therefore you macro in the highest dmg bolt when you use barrage.

I read through RNG guides at every website I could find and several made note that bolt effects did not activate with barrage, use highest dmg bolt you can equip at your lvl.

Being a lazy person I have sometimes messed around and not swapped ammo or had the ammo with me and fired off a barrage goofing around with bloody/acid/holy bolts never seen the additional effect active.

I've been idling in dusk boots on pld/nin and I just obtained valor leggings. I'm curious if it would be better to idle in valor and swap in dusk for ni (glt+1 for ichi) or just stick to what I've been doing. I'm currently #2 on homam and I'll probably get askar boots sometime in the near future as well. Also, should I keep valor leggings on for flash or swap to dusk like ni?

Hmm, well I have Valor Leggings and since all the adjustments to shield blocking I have pretty much left the Valor Leggings in the mog locker and worn my Gallant Leggings(which I should upgrade to the +1 I keep forgetting) full-time and Shield Torque/Parade Gorget.

Has anyone with their Fellow NPC having a problem with Them Recasting Protect/shell everytime they zone? has this always happened that i just happen to overlook?
