Couple of random Q's:

Is Charm affected by Magic Accuracy? Curious b/c I know Apollo's helps.

Is the weapon drop on your first time through Nyzul completely random if you don't warp?

I'm not positive on charm, but I would say magic accuracy probably helps. It works on quickdraw right? (I use this example because it's a job ability that is elementally linked)

In any case, I'm using an Omega ring in my charm macro now. I'd test it if I wasn't so lazy -_-;

And I'm not sure about the second question, but I think it's based on the job of the disk holder.

a test was done using the gauge JA. the point at which adding 1 chr caused a mob to cross from "should be able to charm" to "difficult to charm" was isolated and the test was repeated 1 chr below that threshold with bahlran's ring equipped for 4 macc. the mob still gauged "difficult to charm". this is not a conclusive test since idk if the apollo's staff will affect the gauge rating outside of the 2 chr it bestows, but it is a strike against.

Having trouble deciding on a pair of solo pants. I know haste is exponential but how about it at lower numbers? Pretty much what I'm asking is should I use Byakko's or Usukane for solo'ing. It'll pretty much be 15 vs 17% haste, but also keeping in mind I only have about +10 attack in my solo build, so its pretty lacking.(5 from arakan samue and the other 5 from ethereal)

Edit: Recast timers aside (I have 24% haste for those)

2nd edit: Would fillmode on windower reduce lag? since all the texture and stuffs would be turned into simple lines?

you can calculate the theoretical boost from haste with the following formula.

dps increase = x / (100 - current) where x is the amount of haste you're looking at adding and current is the amount you already have. this is using whole numbers (so 15 vs 17 is 2 / 85 and not .2 / 99.85) multiply the result by 100 to get % boost.

I say theoretical because this formula sort of assumes you're 'always attacking'.

don't forget that Usukane Hizayoroi has about 5 less accuracy than Byakko's Haidate.(not that this necessarily matters for solo, depending on what you fight.)

I'm mainly working on my Serket Solo build atm, but if I needed acc, I'd swap to SH+1 over Arakan Samue before I'd go to Byakko's for acc purposes.

In regards to Wise gear legs, feet, and hands. Is CC sub at 60 using +3 support enough to T1 or do I need to invest in CC GP's for glasses? Or is +3 support not even necessary?

MAcc from Balrahn's/Goliard Clogs appear to help debuffing songs in my experiences, but per usual MAcc is a shit thing to test. There isn't exactly much better out there for grips on BRD so if it doesn't not like it's hurting you, but I would think it's safe to think they do.

A random weapon drops (or doesn't...) on floor 100 if nobody has the runic key. (Short answer: yes)
If your diskholder has one, it's whatever job they entered as, though I can't personally attest if it's 100% drop or not.

If the discholder has the floor 100 key item, it drops as his job + a head piece.

Calli's question was because our first clear we got SAM weapon and I was SAM when we cleared. (I didn't have runic key at that point in time) So we were wondering if that was just a coincidence or not. And it just seems that it was pure luck.

On our first 100 win, we got rdm sword and askar, disc holder was brd and he warped out before we killed the boss.

Is there an order to the buffs dispelled by Aura Steal, or does it just choose one at random? If so, does anyone know the order?

I ask this because a couple weeks ago, in Zhayolm Remnants, one of our MNK's got charmed and I, being a smartass THF, hit my Steal macro on him. Low and behold, I stole Dodge which kinda shocked me. I think Aura Steal has an order as to which buff it will go after (for instance, spikes are pretty much always dispelled first, then Protect/Shell and Haste, with job specific stuff later.) Just kinda curious if anyone has figured out a rough order...

Sorry I wasn't clear, that was a run where we did not have me warp out. So it wasn't our "first clear" but our first data wipe. But yeah I know that if the disc holder warps out the weapon will be completely random and the hat only a chance to drop, but we were interested in if the first data wipe on a disc gave you 100% weapon of the job that entered. And as I said before it just seems like a coincidence and that without runic key its just shit luck.

Tried the search, but failed.

Is there a way to re quest BLU AF? I dropped all my shit when I quit last and now I need it back. NPC in Lower doesn't give me the option to reset it. Tried going to Waoud but he only gave me the G5 quest. Tried going to the AF Crafter, but got nothing.

Haven't tried giving the AF crafter the materials again. Would like to see if anyone knows anything before going that far.

I believe they do charge you if you reactivate your account anytime of the month. If you're wondering when they charge you out of the month (currently active account), it's usually on the 2nd of the month.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong!
