Sea gorget for neck, didn't really look at the rest cause wanted to stop and ask you why you'd rather use staff than SA footwork DK
Thanks for quick reply - I hadn't seen if anyone had considered SA Staff against Ixion yet, was going to try it out.
Do SCH storms affect fishing?
forget any attack, since you will want to boost to max anyway for full swing
I dont like pole grip that much for full swing, if you're doing this on HNM chances are the double attack is not gonna land anyway so I tend to stick for more STR (axe grip/triumph ear instead of pole/brutal)
here's my WS set up for full swing, hope it helps
still need sea gorget but too lazy to farm

Limbus was kind and gave me temenos RDM item.
Does Hat+1 enhance fast cast beyond NQ? I've read it does but don't have anyone to ask. Other pieces dont look that appealing.
Do the sea obis have M Acc+ or just the MAB?
~Thanks
You don't need to repeat the whole series of any af quests as long as you don't reactivate the hands quest. So for SMN you can wipe memory and request your shoes. I did the same for BLM. I've upgraded SMN feet and head, BLM hands and head, BRD legs, hands and body.
As long as you don't have the hands quest open on SMN, you'll be able to complete other af quests should you need to.
The only time my NIN gets to come out is for merits and assault. My static is down to our last FL assault, Bellepheron's Bliss or whatver (The khim one). I was strait tanking khim while the DD put the gob down and I could not keep shadows up for the life of me. It always seemed like he was downing my shadows while recasts were ~5 seconds. He was Slow IIed, I was hasted and had ~19% in haste gear (Turban, Fuma, Dusk Gloves, Swift Belt, Imperial Ring) no march as we don't have a brd in our static. When I went down in our first fight, a sam/nin took over and tanked him just fine (and evaded way more attacks then I did). Now, it kind of makes me feel gimp, but my "max evasion" set up means O hat and SH+1 and not wearing B Kote, should I bother making a max evasion set? I don't want to spend a bunch of gil considering how little action my nin sees on anything outside of merit.
to make sure i have this clear, if i wanted to request my smn feet, the process would be as follows:
toss any af1 series gear i have including weapon
clear memory in jeuno
open the quest for the legs
once the legs quest is open, without finishing it or starting hands quest on smn, go to toramari canal on smn, get a key, and pop the coffer.
in the end i will be left with ONLY the feet and no other af gotten back, is this correct?
sorry to keep drilling this question, but coffer popping is one of my most hated tasks (possibly enhanced by the CGF poshacking around to coffers if they're still at that) so i'd like to avoid doing any more than i absolutely have to.
You don't need to toss anything until you receive it again. If you only want to request the feet, just make sure the entire NQ set is stored or that you have the feet +1'd.
1. Start Weapon Quest
2. Toss AF1 weapon so you can get the "new" one when you finish the quest
3. Start AF2 quest (do not need to complete it, just have it open)
4. Start Hands quest so you can open coffers*
5. Pop coffer for feet.
*Something odd to keep in mind, and I'm not entirely sure how it works, is that you can get coffer AF if you have another job's hands quest open but not the hands. Had multiple people have, eg, NIN hands open, but be able to get RNG AF out of the coffers - they could not, however, get the RNG hands until they finished NIN hands and started the RNG hands quest.
Has there been any testing as to what the +racc you get from slugwinder at 100%, 200%, and 300% tp?
You need to have -a- hands quest open to put the feet in the coffer. (And do AF1, start AF2.) You don't have to start SMN hands necessarily if you have one already open.
so say i lvled drg next, got it to 50 so i could start the af, and then started bogartz's loldrghands quest, if i'd started smn af2, the feet would be in the coffer? that's just weeeeeeeeeird. guess i'll do it the next time i get another job to AF or i can redo it when i redo the lot of blm af eventually. all very strange, but thanks for the input.
