THF/NIN with a full eva build, spammed Paralyze Arrows, Blind Bolts, I think he even tossed a Hojo in there a few times. Did everything he could to enfeeble whatever he was fighting, then just outlasted it.

I've got a few of his videos, at least on Ose I saw he had Feint on so he could land a paralyze arrow, then swapped to Ungur. The Fenrir solo was neat...the Shadowstitch on the Astral Flow was rather ingenious to buy recovery time. Alas, Stage6 is no more, and the 'subsitute' site that divx would forward me to has a shitty shitty search that I can never get to work.

Where can I find a stat calculator? I used to google "ffxi stat" and stumble across a website that could give me the accurate stats of every job with subjobs. But it seems the website no longer exists. There's another one out there but it gives retard stats. Mithra THF/NIN gets 94 base DEX...

Any help would be appreciated.

WAR Category 2 merits.

Warrior's Charge to 5 is obvious.

Tomahawk doesn't seem all that useful to me.
Savagery appears to be retarded.
Aggressive Aim looks like a winner, because I'd probably farm some random synth materials as WAR/THF and being able to land bolts would help.

It might just be me, but I've never been impressed with /Thf for farming, especially not relying on bolts to make money, /Nin with some regen shit, /Dnc straight up solo, /Sam for butchering low level shit rapidly.

Savagery would be completely lame, but it gives half the effect to anyone who you hit with your Warcry too, Tomahawk is worth at least unlocking if it's just once in a blue moon, or capping if you use that shit all the time. I'm 5/5 WC, 1/5 Tomahawk, and 3/5 Sav, going 4/5 eventually just to have it all capped out.

30~50% more TP from having Warcry up, and 15-25% for everyone in your party is actually a nice buff for Warcry. Makes macroing the mask for the extra duration more worth it too.

Figure Aggressive aim is going to slightly improve your shitty marksmanship accuracy, which you'll be using to heal yourself, while impairing your shitty evasion further by riding aggressor while solo.

+50tp for yourself and +25tp to the rest of the party isnt bad at all. Can usually get 2 ws off during warcry.

I have 3 merit in tomahawk 2 in WC and 2 in Savagery right now. 1 min tomahawk is kinda nice on certain HNM, big birds, elementals, m.dmg reduction (salvage chariot, before chainspell nuke).


And war/thf with bolt is useless, dont even bother. Bolt sucks, and like Max said, aggressor solo will hurt you more than bolt will heal you. Just sub nin and pop a fellow if you want to solo something badly, or level another jobs.

Could anyone provide me with the correct formula, when calculating your damage/hit during a DRK zerk? (Both BW and SE active)
Going to try and calculate how much damage an Octave Club could put out, in the duration of Blood Weapon, as we've currently got 3 OC's on the way.
I wasn't sure if it's just 12% of your HP straight into damage, or if any higher HNMs have a damage reduction, compared to say a Steelshell in Boyahda.

Any help is appreciated.

Well, its nothing you need a spreadsheet to calculate. The thing you're fighting either has a damage reduction%, or it doesn't. I don't recall anything that specifically reduces the damage from Souleater. Just don't try and have them do it against anything that's undead; They're in for a disappointment, and you're in for a dead DRK.

Oh, and its 10% naturally, 12% with any of the enhancements. (PS: Use Gloom Breastplate)
