When I use bow on RNG I usually stand at 9.0 - 9.5, unless on Imps, then I stand at 10.2 to avoid AoE stuff.

Anyone know how to get the Tenshodo to lower its prices? I mean some items that have a super-huge price range rather than the standard 90%~110% price range based on fame, but somehow sometimes people get 1/2 prices on things that clearly aren't being sold to the NPC or anything. I've tried maxing my Norg fame (was two from max, now it's maxed) and that didn't change the prices even one gil. Or is spending 400k on a weapon for my NPC just a test of my dedication to her?

like all other guilds, the tenshodo restock a certain amount of each item they regularly carry a day - prices are based on how much is in stock.

the particular weapon you're thinking about is always pretty expensive though.

Well I can't figure out why so many sites, NA and JP alike, list it as possibly going down to 180k. I even found a post from alla back in August 2004 where a guy with level 2 fame lists all the stuff that NPC is selling, and he has it for 193358 gil. The only thing I can think of that might explain why I can't get it at the good price would be this, from July 19, 2005 patch notes:

Prices at guilds have been changed to reflect the amount of each item the guild currently has in stock. The cost may rise to a maximum of five times the original price.

So if the Tenshodo Guild doesn't stock more than 1 or 2 of them at a time, maybe it's just not possible anymore to get it at that older price.

it's also possible that they restock at a slow rate that doesn't really outstrip demand anymore.

in 2004/5 the weapon basically wasn't used.

I think he meant if it has a partial set bonus from hands + feet, legs + feet, or legs + hands, the the sets in past have.

Forgot to mention I lost mine too, and she lives with me.

She had to reformat her hard drive on her laptop, luckily I didn't so I'm not in need of the expansion.

you copy everything in the FinalFantasyXI folder structure over and then run a file check.

should have all the registry keys already

I have an external HD, could I copy the folder onto that, plug it into her laptop, then copy it from the external to hers?

My folder is the one on the C Drive > Program Files > Playonline > FinalFantasyXI, right?
