Is it worth getting HQ fire/earth staff for blm?(note, i DONT have flare2 or quake 2). I've been thinking about it for a long time and just don't see the use from them.

I would say if you consider yourself a career blackmage, then yes.

if blackmage is just one of several jobs you play regularly and not your favorite I wouldn't sweat anything beyond HQ Ice/thunder/dark probably.

I don't know what your criteria is for an item being worth getting, but I will say that as a BLM you do find yourself casting Fire or Firaga from time to time, although Earth not so much. Medusa is the only thing I can think of at the moment that you would really use it for. However, some day they will probably add a more popular NM that only takes reasonable damage from Stone, and when that day comes you might wish you already had the HQ staff so you don't pay the newly inflated price for it.

I get the BC icon sometimes when zoning (used to get on 360 also), probably lag issues.

Brandson mod doesn't have icons for new abilities, so yeah it's the UI mod

RDM can solo this. Use Brothers strategy, sleep one, kill the other asap.

Yeah like Tricen said, RDM can solo this as well as SAM/DNC

If u go to playonline viewer and check purchase history in member services, it will tell u the date u purchased your server transfer. Just count 90 days from then.

Hard to tell with the modified speed, but sam gets no movement gear and it seems like he's running faster than he should be to get a lead in the DD one >.>

Yea, but he runs when his last third eye is gone and gets out of range before they swing again.. that's kind of fishy considering they have no form of slow on them and should be at least getting one more attack off when he runs >_>

Osode for waltz potency, AF legs for parry, af feet for evasion skill

Granted I can think of a billion gear swaps to make him more efficient but he appears to be playing on xbox, also he's the clever one who's taking on shit solo as SAM so who am I to talk
