Is it considered unethical or shady if you have two accounts and you join different Dynamis LSs for each of them?

If nobody knows you do and you've already joined and then later down the road they find out... it might seem a bit shady. Even worse is if you'll be two boxing the accounts. Tell them about your situation and see what they think about it. They'll probably be ok with it.
Personally I wouldn't mind.
Shady would be building up points in one LS with them, and wishlisting items to cockblock others so you can pass to your other account.
Less shady would be going to two LSes with different characters, cause... fuck it, is your time to spend doing that I guess...
So I'm thinking about leveling my npc for the lulz. When I did the quest I picked galka for the HUEG factor, but if I set him to healer eventually will he be gimp?
tl,dr: Does race matter for npc stats?
I don't think it does actually, but that's something that I've honestly never seen listed or tested anywhere.
Hell, it would be hard to test since you can't just ask how much MP exactly they have.
You would have to add up the spells they cast, mp costs, and what it would take to run them dry, and then see if that matches up with the race.
Pretty sure it's just a cosmetic choice, but who knows.
If you use flee, does it immediately wear off if you perform an action on a mob (like say stun)? What about if you get hit?
Flee stays on for the duration of it's ability. This is the THF flee, and powder boots flee.
No and no (pretty sure)
I got deed of moderation off Ix'drk and I don't need it. Do ppl buy these? If so any idea how I should price it
i believe that flee, powder boots, chicken knife, caitiff's socks, and hermes quencher can only be removed by manual disabling, duration elapsing, or a dispel effect. mazurka and sprinter's shoes are the only "fragile" ones that are broken by taking an action that i know of.
And chocobo jig, but that's 'quickening' like sprint shoes are.
So I've been enjoying my Scholar very much. I've mapped several keys on my keyboard to cast various spells, the ones I like the most are my nukes/helix keys.
But I was wondering, is it possible to make a script that will cast a tier 4 spell and if that spell is on cooldown, have it cast the tier 3 version instead?
Currently I just have:
/ma "Water IV" <stnpc>
/ma "Water III" <stnpc>
It might just be as simple as adding a /wait 1 in between them. But I just want to make sure.
And while I'm here...
Scholar is kinda of my first mage job, and I'd like to start soloing a little bit since I'm starting to get a little burned out on Campaign after doing what seems to be 61-72 on only that. How does this typically work? I just tried the Qiqirn in Alzadaal and I don't feel that I'm doing it right. I start with a Gravity to pull it out of the room, slap on Hydrohelix, and go to down with Parsimony + Water IV. When I'm done I've used up just about all of my mp and I tend to be at around 500 hp. Any tips?
The spellcast plugin can do it iirc, or you can do /ma "Nuke IV";wait 1;/ma "Nuke III";
I used to have the latter for my sleep macro.
spellcast
<if Spell="Water IV" RecastGT="0">
<action type="ChangeSpell" Spell="Water III" /></if>
I asked in media after a screenshot earlier but should have just asked here.
I did do a search but couldn't find anything but post's on dark knight, and just using ix brings up nothing at all...
Anyway, can someone tell me how to seperate the qn's from ix'drk solo(on blm, and I have borrowed gaiters right now if it matters)? I've only fought it twice and both times was a duo where one person took the qn's towards the entrance as I took ix to the towers square room to kill it there. I'd like to not waste an animosity screwing around if someone can just let me know or possibly link me to a strat.
Thanks.
This is just what I thought, thanks. And thanks for the reminder that I need to add Sleep II to my sleep macro D:
I don't always have Addendum: Black on, which I need to use tier 4 spells. So sometimes I just have to stick it out with the tier 3 spell. That <lastst> command was kinda cool though.
Regarding SpellCast. Well, I have SpellCastLite; I really like the //"Spell" command. Everything else on SpellCast is kinda WOOSH, looks like C or VB. But my set-up is pretty clever! Alt+K for thunder nukes and ctrl+K for the coressponding helix for example
Thanks again to everyone for the tips and comments!
Can't really help you there as I'm always going RDM. I buff up, pop the NM and chainspell gravity the two adds, then start running to the square kiting room. When i get there I just die, RR, claim the Ix'drk and start kiting since the adds and links will be far behind or depopped.
Belkin's guide is for RDM but I guess it might help a bit if you haven't read it;
